[MAFIA] SPY VS. MAFIA II DAY 3

Something demonlord repeatedly states is that the votes aren't a reliable indicator of information, because of the high possibility that scum aren't aware of each other. Ozzy corroborated that they were warned of traitors. My guess is they really legit do not know each other.
I missed AE's use of "gray agent." I didn't miss demonlord's. The problem is that both agents and scum would know this term.

I want to hear more from Cave. He said some stuff D1 that he wasn't very willing to follow up on, and I don't want to let that go just yet.
I was wishy-washy because I didn't feel like I strongly knew anything yet. What I was most certain of (Ozzy's logic for claiming) was clearly wrong too, Ozzy was an actual agent.
I didn't follow up on it because it wasn't evolving into anything and the archfiend demonlord made his presence known to me.
I'll have more to say about this later, when i am not asleep, but the specifics of the saxophone don't make sense to me. there are several possible explanations. that i will go into l. later. hunrgy.
I'll just say I wouldn't read into calling them gray, in my head I was calling the potential double agent gray because of the whole black and white thing.
Oh, you're talking about the term? That's true, they were a double agent in the first game. I was thinking like white spy, black spy, gray spy from the comics when I said that.
I expect Demon used the term because he wasn't familiar with the first game as much, and so used the same term I did instead of double agent. I don't know what the deal with Psy is.

Between this and the ""what are the chances I'm mafia twice in a row??"" I think this is Odd being flippant scum again. if he's agent, then, welp

For one, if Jeroen is telling the truth in this instance, he basically just immediately claimed that he is in fact independent and can pretty much win as long as he doesn't die. Two, we don't know if PA is lying or not about the color scheming, and heck, we don't even know if any of the power roles in this game are based on color like (I think?) they were in the last one. They could be absolutely and completely different, like being named after famous terrorists/spies in real life, or like characters from spy movies or something.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Oh wow, that's a big slip. That basically confirms Odd is either agent or scum.
And with Odd's early-game weirdness where he deflected onto everyone, his drop in posting rate to coasting under the radar level, and his self-consciousness about how he's perceived, that's enough for me to #Lynch Odd.
I'm also not feeling great about LockeZ anymore. The way he jumped onto that gray agent thing when I pointed it out felt really opportunistic to me.

^ I don't what this is, though. I assume demon used the term because he was explicitly warned about in his role pm as scum.
Re:Odd, That could be a coincidence, but it would be a kind of big coincidence.
Odd also has gone pretty low-profile at this point, which is a LOT like what happened in the last mafia game. That makes me feel less than great about him.
Ozzy indicated that the existence of a traitor was hinted at, I wouldn't expect it to be different for scum. Having read read some of the first game, I thought it would be more likely to be a neutral agent.
I would guess Demon used the term I did because he was responding to me, or because he hadn't even heard about it before.
I'm actually a little surprised that Ozzy said nothing about the possibility. Presumably a lot more discussion on that topic happened in agent chat :P

In the case that I was in fact, scum, it wouldn't make sense for me to drop such a big hint that I'm scum. Even I'm not that dumb. It was just a lucky guess?
No, I know nothing about "gray". I can only assume it relates to that comic strip posted at the beginning of the day.

It would make sense if you were sending a signal to demonlord.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

...If he wanted to signal demonlord, wouldn't he just say "I'm oddrabbit" in scum chat?
Eh, even if I had, I would assume that the agents would pick up on it really easily and just start hounding me more, resulting in a Day 1 lynching of me, or an immediate Day 2 lynching of me.

Well, that'd be easy enough, assuming that there isn't some sort of spy infiltrating both chats, or some way that one chat can look at the other.

I guess that both makes sense.
Though, I guess that's the same or similar if the opposite occurs. If I was an agent and did that as a way to message my team in secret, then it means that the people going after me could probably be scum. It really depends on if I die and show up as one of the two things. But, I'm town, so it doesn't really matter, I guess.
I don't like that all. Once we start talking about Odd, he immediately shows up. I also don't like how he apparently missed all the discussion on the term "gray agents" both days, but was clearly aware of the possibility (as in the quote Psy posted). Acting ignorant isn't a good look.
So I'll just flat out ask this way: are you an independent agent, Odd?
Are you implying you know what that signal would be for? Because that isn't clear to me, just that he was also scum? I would think that at that point he might as well just say so in scum chat instead, right?
