It totally was. Hyperfresh submitted it and he was the also the person doing the unmasking.
super weird person to try to kill but whatever. would still prefer to vote the previous people i put forward (with the obvious exception of gourd) because i haven't changed my mind on them, but i will defer to what gourd and demon think we should do since i am not that good at figuring stuff out i guess.
but i will say to me cave feels like village, but i guess that's standard for him because of how he plays. so i’m fine with lynching him because i usually deal with him by either working around him or just getting rid of him immediately. if you really still think he’s suspicious it’s best to deal with him either first or last. and to just do it without stalling

It looks to me like the unmask attempts were more aimed at removing power roles than eliminating a particular player. I guess scum thought Odd had a PR for some reason.

Well the rolestop was made by DJ Hyperfresh who also did the unmasking which is a scum only action. So the rolestop was definitely a scum move.

And I'm fine not chasing cave until at least Hyperfresh is dead seeing as how that's so unlikely to be him.

I'm really kinda weirded out by the liberty elect votes. Idk why anybody would have elected anybody but demon and myself last night.

We can lean toward someone being town (like odd may be town since he was targeted) or it could have been a gambit odd did draw a bit of attention yesterday so having mafias gun pointed at him may seem like a compelling reason for town to ignore him. Not saying that's what I believe I just don't want us to treat players like confirmed town if they're not.

this also makes odd the most efficient kill today regardless of alignment because it undoes all of scum's work last night.
math people: doesn't this game become solvable by massclaim after two scum are dead. I think it might be solvable after 1 scum is dead too. I can't think right now.

This post seems fine on the surface but a part of me is wary that you are using deferment to confirmed town as a way to get out of responsibility of forming opinions.

i have a greater than 0 feeling that kf is scum but i am not pursuing them today because they are confirmed not hyperfresh.

It seems more like it finishes what scum started and helps them more than it wipes their work away. What do you mean?

yes. i still think either of those would be a good idea. if not emily cuz of what seemed like a big deliberate misunderstanding that went back and forth and wasted a bunch of time until the end, then shinan for being mostly scarce (odd is in the same boat but the difference is he seems to imply he's doing this deliberately for some dumb reason and also wanted to do something as dumb as outing to prove it)
in the event that odd is town, scum last night gained a lot of information about who he is. if we mislynch some other town and odd is town, they gain information about everyone else (they arent whoever that person was) and keep their info about odd, increasing the possibility of him being unmasked at their leisure. if we kill odd and he's town, it's essentially as if we killed him day 1 and n1 never happened.

It depends which scum dies. If we kill two scum and Hyperfresh is still alive, then yeah it's not solved but they'd have to fakeclaim. Scum can always withhold the nightkill if they're worried about being trapped like this though.

His style is to lynch vote someone at total random, not participate and then complain when people call him out for it. I've never seen him engage until this game.
Everyone may only post under their superhero name in the thread. These superhero names are the ones that everyone signed up with, but they have been redistributed under the following constraint: Nobody has the same superhero name they signed up with

I'm pretty sure it's definitely solvable if only one scum is alive. they would have to counterclaim someone else and it would be impossible to end the game that night even if we mislynched. there is a point where this becomes not 'confirmed' though. I think the last time we can do it and be OK even if they mislynched, roles aside, is with 1 scum 5 town alive or whatever is similar on the chart.

I do see the logic in the Odd lynch...at least as a backup plan. We give scum the least information that way, and we know Odd isn't a PR for town. We do need to get a lynch in, at the very least to reduce the unmask attempts.
I don't know about Odd as actually being scum though. I find it somewhat unlikely that there was a total feint on the unmask attempts. I literally can't imagine ANYONE ever doing something so bold as to focus all of their power on a scum ally first thing!

I was also thinking KF was possibly scum because their initial reaction today of "inertia" vs "weird night junk, wow" like everyone else.
The reason it's not solved if hyperfresh dies is that scum doesn't necessarily have to dirty their hands trying to unmask people (and thereby making an identity known as scum), they could just not submit nightkills all game for safety. (kind of likely if hyperfresh dies as the second-to-last scum)
