I'm actually very excited about this! I can always fall back to MV if the new maker doesn't suit me after all. Or maybe I can finally learn something outside RPG Maker family.

I just hope they've been listening to the complaints over the years and taken them to heart..
A lot of people started using a different piece of software all together just to make their maps for MV.
That tells me right there that RMMV got some sh*t wrong.
And has anyone else noticed the suck-ups who come out the woodworks defending products when you have anything negative to say about it?
IT'S A PRODUCT, NOT SOMETHING SOMEONE IS JUST DOING OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF THEIR HEART.
It's within consumers rights to be negative about a product if they've not been completely happy about products in the past.
I owe no elegance to any corporation or company.
It's insane in my mind to suck up to a company and to just be happy with what ever they choose to give.
And no it hasn't happen here.. but I've noticed it else where.

Here? No.

Likely because we don't get whiners who demand everything be changed in non-sensical ways, want the attention of daddy-KADOKAWA to fix everything that they deem is wrong immediately and understand that not everything can be done at once.

IE - no entitled assholes. Or at least, not many.

I swear, I've seen a ton of the complaints people have and have made just by dent of knowing others who worked with MV and the sheer case of entitled whining and bitching is enough to make me not ever want a piece of that pie. Whatever nickels made just ain't worth it. I'd have killed someone by now, I swear. Those handling support are fucking saints! XDDD

What? TileD? That has a plugin tied into the program so you can use it as an extra tool? It's almost as if the engine is built for people who don't know the first thing about development to get their hands in and make something quick and easily or something!

Also, that thought is kinda stupid when you consider the fact that other engines have the same fucking issues too - you need shit like blender and photoshop and music making software and the like to make anything that's not default on any engine. Whining about the existence and need of out-of-engine-support-tools to make anything half decent is pretty dumb.

...especially when it's a straight-up lie.

The existence of something is not an innate indication of a deficiency in another thing's existence.

It can be both, Mr. Whiny. I know for fact that those working on it on the English side do so out of love for the engine and the community (and sure, they get paid but so? That doesn't discredit their enjoyment and love for it, ffs. Get yo head outta yo ass pls.)

yeah, they have the right to complain. They also have the right to be told "Sorry we can't change this" and "We already know that's an issue but can't do anything about it" or "You're using it wrong" (guess which is the most common. I'll give you a clue - it ain't the first two, tho they do pop up from time to time. You'd be surprised how many people aren't capable of reading a manual or doing a little brainwork to see that they fucked something up. Happens all the time with plug-ins too. The stories I could tell second-hand...)
