Still playing FFX-2. I'm on Chapter 5 right now and have realised I've missed a shedload of stuff from the previous chapters, so 100% completion is out of the question (very 'Guide Dang It' stuff by the looks of things, e.g. having to talk to some randomer to get Paine's special dressphere ;_;).
This game is packed to the brim with content, but I'm no sure if that's entirely a good thing..I mean there's only so much mileage one can get out of a game before it gets boring, and at the moment I'm just itching to fight the final battle. Unfortunately X-2 keeps thrusting sidequests in my face and I'd feel like a lousy gamer if I didn't try out what was immediately presented to me, even if I know the sidequests will probably end up being dull (some boring minigame that must be played in order to get X random item to make your character Y% arbitrarily stronger - I don't like overpowering characters in RPGs either, but that's another story), and that managing a perfect game is impossible at this stage. Either way, it's very demotivating to note that despite being ridiculously close to the end-game I have a measly 49% completion rate.
First World Problems.
Ouch. Yeah, Paine's special dressphere is easy to miss, but the character you had to talk to wasn't really a random, he was Seymour's assistant in the original.
I think it's available until Chapter 3, so if you decide to do a new game+, you can get it during Chapter 1.
Also ouch, 49%?! Well...I'm on my 3rd run of NG+ and have 87% I think. I'm terrible, terrible, terrible at sphere break, which means I miss two dresspheres (Lady Luck and MASCOT NUUU ;3;)

Played FFX-2 god damn it was shit, my sister brought it, it turned into something far different then I thought it was, instead of being a ff rpg, decides to make it so you have to climb up this tower or something and had a time limit. But that's just my opinion anyway.
FFX-2 is almost unbearable until the end of Chapter Two. Play it until the end of chapter two (which is when shit gets real) and you'll find the gameplay and some of the story elements are top-notch. It's also got a massive variety of playstyles and minigames so there's really something for everyone
/forever an advocate of FFX-2
But I strongly believe in getting several hours into a game before calling it shit, and you only saw the first mission.
I played 20 hours of FF13 and I stand by my right to call it shit.
i really hate it when people are like "there's too much stuff to do, i can't do it all :<<< " - get over yourself, don't do what you don't want to. i don't see how this is so hard, don't you have a life

If only you had waited another hour, it was about to turn good!
Only to become awful again shortly after.

Whoops, I guess I should have kept my eyes open then. :< Sphere Break was a bit much for me so I missed those too...not sure if I'll be doing a NG+ anytime soon as I have a shedload more PS2 games I want to play (next stop: Persona 3 FES. Whoop)

I...did. Beat the final boss today, and I'm awfully proud of my 54% completion rate. :< *totally not an incompetent gamer*
That sunken ship was the only one that had me stumped. Other than that it was great Kentona. What a fun little game.. Act like a hero haha.

This, and the final one. Once I figured out it was a button combo though, I didn't need more than one guess! :D

Diablo 3 Open Beta Weekend. FUCK YES.

God of War 1. Played it for the first time over the past few months. Beat it this week. God Mode is tediously and needlessly time consuming.
Karsuman and I played Diablo III until we realized that it was boring, obnoxious and pretty shitty (nice graphics though?). I've been playing more Dragon Age II and the Mass Effect 3 demo, which I'm in love with.

Diablo 3 Open Beta Weekend. FUCK YES.
FUCK YES indeed!
I wasn't looking forward to Diablo 3 at all, but the open beta has set me straight. While I do still feel like this is a new game merely pretending to be Diablo, the pretender is still a very good game in its own right.
Monk is fun as heck. I also really enjoyed my run through with the demon hunter. Witch doctor feels extremely ho-hum and sort of boring as a whole. Barbarian and wizard are what I expected, not very gripping but still quite fun.
