>this is why devil survivor is the best smt series
I have overclocked for the 3ds, not tried it. Explain.
And I am getting FUCKING JEALOUS of all this Berseria talk.... MRRRGRRGRR
Curse my Poorosity!!! I'll never get to play you at this rate Boohoohooo.. ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥᷄⌓˂̣̣̥᷅ )‧º·˚
(Why couldn't you, and Star Ocean 5, be PS3 games.... boohoohoo)

Berseria is for PS3...
.... In Japan, anyway.

I just wish the SO5 team had been reminded that cinematography exists. I mean, I know they were trying to maintain seamlessness, but c'mon... where the hel are you supposed to look!? Half-Life team guys spend like .... eons making people look in the right direction when they hold the camera...
Overclocked is the first desu right? The gameplay and music are great but the characters are shit, or at least the teens are. The second one also has a 3ds tweaked version and it's got even better gameplay and music and some of the best SMT storytelling imo.
I really don't know how to sell Desu1. Uh, do you like SMT battles? Do you wish you could just play the fun parts where you get the big numbers and the weakness hits and pray that the enemy doesn't reflect it? BUT THEN you also get to run and teleport around tokyo as it falls apart in a weird Fire Emblem mash-up (but not THAT SMT/FE mash-up)? And get really excited when your angels can finally made blood wine to restore MP?
also boobs. and shooting police officers.
oh and berseria is really really good yeah, the dungeons are emptier than zesty's but... the battles are good, and there's a lot of those. also this game has actual costumes in the game instead of just recolors! (that swimsuit is DLC in my screenshot but there ARE swimsuits in-game for free as well, among others)

Dark Souls 2: Just finished the Undead Crypt. That place wasn't so hard, but the place before, Shrine of Amana or whatever, was a major pain.
The stages are usually a good challenge, but bosses are easier than they should be. I'm beating most of them the first try and it's my very first playtrough. The problem is that most of the bosses are basically one and the same, you invincibility frame yourself trough the attack and then strike back. Regardless of what movesets they have, you use the same strategy. The exceptions are relative few.
I think this is to a large extent a problem with the engine. Dodging attacks is too heavily invincibility frame based and invincibility frames gives a very little crap about what moves the opponent is using.

I'm playing Final Fantasy II on the PSP. I'm enjoying it a lot more than I expected to. I'm only a few quests into the game, but I like the whole setup of "We're in a war and you are my right hand" so you go out and solve all the resistance's problems.
I think the hardest part is the magic. At this stage of the game, unless something is explicitly only weak to magic, they pretty much don't pose any threat at all. Magic is mostly a time saver. I think, in the PSP version, monster rank matters, so using magic on better enemies gets you a better result. I'm hoping that's the case. I'm mostly forcing myself to use magic right now because my characters' MP levels are really low.
Another great trick is to just play the game with one weapon, one shield, and no armor. Your evasion goes up incredibly high. Helps you raise some other stats too, but good god the evasion.

Fire Emblem Heroes. I'm not big into the mobile game scene but this works so well. The way you drag your heroes around the map in order to get them to fight feels so intuitive and I'm really enjoying getting rare heroes from the lotto. For a free mobile game, it's really good.
Dark Souls 2: Beat it. I ended up at level 145, which seems very high compared to about 80 for the first Dark Souls (125 for new game+). I played a pure strength build with a Heavy Crossbow serving as the ranged mean and that worked out just fine. Little to no attention was played to the story and I have no idea why I did what I did other than because it was fun. Well, time for a caster build and time for more reading guides and more paying attention to the lore.
Dark Souls 2 gets plenty of hate, but it may very well be my favorite in the series! You're going to love Dark Souls 3, they did a great job on that one too.
I just got done with The Last of Us Remastered. I absolutely loved it! The writing and graphics blew me away. And dat ending! I can't wait for the sequel.

... I really need to go back and finish my Dark Souls 2 barehanded runthrough. The suffering was so much fun...

Coincidentally, I was going to post in your thread today to ask if it's reasonable to assume you haven't been able to get up to any monky business lately. But it's good to know you haven't forgotten.

Blame Berseria.
Recently finished No More Heroes, convinced it's one of the best games ever made.
Currently playing Gravity Rush 2 and getting re-acquainted with flying(?) all over the place.

I've been playing a crapton of Shop Heroes, Rogue Legacy and Papers Please recently. Oh, and Final Fantasy X. I did play a bit more of The Last Guardian but for some reason a 16-year-old game is higher on my priority list. XD
Finished The last Guardian and... them feelz! ;___;
But I think Ico and Shadow of the collossus were better games. They didn't require as much searching-where-to-go-next as TLG did... but I love the game anyway...
And I finished Planescape Torment... damn, that's a great piece of software.. I'll miss my companions. We had a great journey together. ;_;
Especially Morte! <3
I can't resist....
xD
Now I'm playing random stuff and small indie games to pass the time till February 28th... next Torment awaits me there. :D
