CloseDid you ever play that Sonic 2006 for the 360/PS3? 10-15% of the game is loading screens and the actual gameplay is summed up as "Terrible" with the piss poor controls being a great contributor. The plot is some sort of Sonic meets Final Fantasy kind of deal thats so terrible the only good part of the story is when the story writes itself out of existance.
Some of the music wasn't bad but that's about the only good thing I can think of about that game.

Fallout fans
It's true :( I am an enormous Fallout fan but man I can't stand having a conversation with anybody else that is interested in Fallout. This includes my former roommate who exclusively likes Fallout 3!

Fans who are over-the-top about anything, ever. I don't even care if it is something I like myself because, frankly, if you're so obsessed with one thing that other things become a blur to you, you need your head smashed in with a baseball bat.
You might be surprised to learn that I actually have had my head smashed in with a baseball bat. It's a truly terrifying experience and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't make jokes about it >:(

I meant to say this. A couple of my good friends watch anime, but they moved onto reading mangas. The only stuff I can stand is Miyazaki. (Er, and Akira.)

That was a response to "What's wrong with Sonic?", not the fans. I haven't played any of the other Sonic games but if I hear anything good about a Sonic game, 99% of the time its in reference to the first three.

Aero, of course there are gonna be exceptions. Not every sonic fan is crazy (I'm actually a fan of the series), but a LARGE chunk of them are. It doesn't help that they're a loud bunch.
As I stated earlier, they're like Naruto fans. A good bunch of them are normal, sane people, but there's a HUGE, LOUD chunk of em that are just plain annoying and sometimes even..... Scary.

But I guess i haven't watched it because I'm a BIG Dragonball fan, and after watching a few scenes of Naruto (Even Bleach), I thought that they copied Dragonball a bit too much, and I disliked that fact.
(Buuuut maybe that's just anime? I'm not a big anime fan, so I wouldn't know.)

I don't like series hardcore fans really. I find many to be way to obsessed with the subject matter and often get violent if I ever criticize one aspect of the series.
Other "normal" fans are okay provided they don't force you to like what they like.
I'm actually fond of many things including the Mother series, RPGMaker, Pro Evolution Soccer, Heroes etc but I see many things wrong with each of them.
