That church looks lovely :). I love the atmosphere. For some reason, it reminds me of a rose and the word 'malevolent'

can't say I'm crazy about how the lighting effects are incorporated -- it seems like they would be more effective if they were a little more subtle -- but those portraits of yours are very well done. I'd probably put a little more work into the character sprites as well, but it looks like you've put a lot of love into other graphical things so far.

The characterset looks sharp and sterile while the background doesn't. It's hard to describe, but something about the way the two work together is really offsetting.
yeah. it's tough to pinpoint when you're looking at the charset through a screen tone and a custom fog, but there's definitely a bit of inconsistency there.
We have three days to finish this game. :\ I doubt we're worrying about it at this point. I think he's just looking for comments on building structure, etc.
I am sorry about the character sets, I have not designed them, but I have tried to adjust them to fit. I will try to make them fit better when I get time. It's just that they're not on first priority, and we've got lots of things to do and very short amount of time anymore. I'll get back to it at somepoint tho..

Lots of the tiles are same color for few dungeons, so all I can give them difference with is tints, and when I do that, it tends to make the color scheme a bit too monotonic. To fix that then again, is to have the overlays effect it more.
It's most of all problem of the time we've got. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go that much out with custom overlays for project to be made in so short period of time. I just didn't take enough time to adjust the tilesets so they wouldn't need as much help of the overlays in dark setting.
Aaanyway, there is some dungeon tiers that have more colors and more subtle light effects, as well as sequences in between that take place out of the dark dungeons. I hope it's tolerable.

You have passability errors with the Magitek armor, and ABSs in 2k3 suck.
The passibility is alright the picture will stop when you run into something.
All I have to do is make the pictures for the cliffs and make them a higher priority over the Robot.
And also i'm only 1/4 completed with this ABS/CBS.
And also i've already heard the "ABS's Suck" line. Sorry if thats your opinion but I love them.

Oh I forgot to mention that in the last screenshot........you see that purple/blue tab by
the enemy health bar?
It is a status effect. That symbol means that enemy is "Confused"
There will be about 8 status effects in the final product.
The status effects will also affect the player as well.
