MAX MCGEE'S PLAYLIST
Posts
...is back, bitches. (I considered making the topic title "Max McGee's playlist is back, bitches." but decided against it at the last minute. Always a challenge deciding when to end the topic title and start the topic.) While we're on the topic, the captcha for this topic was "that tailsome".

RECOMMEND ME A GAME TO REVIEW!
The less reviews your game has, the more likely I'll be to consider your request*. Additionally, I actually prefer to review demos to completed games. Less time requirement from me, and more likely that my feedback will help shape the finished product.

Thanks, that is some nice feedback. Also, I'm not certain if Akira Yamaoka songs were actually used in the demo or not, but there are none now at least. The clothes on the Theodore sprites are all meant to be lab coats or the like but we were on a tight time schedule for the demo. Thanks for the atmosphere compliments, and about the walking speed... I will have to play through it a bit first because yeah, there aren't massive maps so it shouldn't really be a problem to have low speed... but I may prefer to have select parts where speed slows down, like The Longing Ribbon.
So, what are your rules? I probably was around when you last had a thread like this but I can't quite remember...
Anyhow, if you have the spare time can you review the One Night series (preferably the last two)? They are all around an hour long survival horror games so shouldn't eat up too much time.

Mainly because the last ones have less reviews than the first one. But yeah I get your point... It will be hard for you to follow the story arc that way so play them in whichever order you wish.
B-b-b-b-b-but I'd have to play like 85 games all for one review?
It would be a good challenge though.
I'm gonna be revolutionary then and go with a sequence I like to call "first to last". : P
Which of course is really "first to whenever I get bored and stop".

I am surprised more people aren't clamoring for reviews (that usually happens). Then again I have a backlog so I shouldn't complain.
No offense, Calunio, you seem like a nice guy and everything but that is the worst fucking idea for a game I have ever seen in my entire fucking life and I would rather swallow a 30 megaton nuclear warhead than play it.
Edit: Halibabica's chances of me playing Pokemon Hunter just went up!

Mana Conquest is still looking for a review on here. *puppy dog eyes*. I'll warn you though, clear your schedule, it's damn long.
A decent looking complete game with no reviews!?
I'll add it to the list.
If it's that long, I probably won't finish it before reviewing even if it's super great. Too many games to review.

post=131191You mean...there are worse things out there?!

Nah, seriously, don't bother with any of the PH's that are currently up. They're not terrible, but they're not great either. Maybe I'll pester you when PH4 is finally completed*.
*assuming that ever happens and you're still around when it does
EDIT: Unless you want to try Super Porygon 3D. That one...is different.
Would you be up to reviewing Vacant Sky? ( http://rpgmaker.net/games/1046/ ) I'd really like a review that covers Act II, since the game was completely overhauled and a lot of design issues (such as linearity) were fixed between Acts I and II.
While I had the time to play only one RPG Maker game since my last post in this thread, I have already played a lot of Outlaw City and a little of Alpha-Epsilon and formulated opinions on them. So their reviews should be forthcoming. There is another game I played months ago called Your Star which I might give my thoughts on. (If it was a little bit better I was going to contract the creator and ask for permission to finish its English translation...it's in a state of somewhat awful Engrish as we speak.)
The one RPG Maker game I had time to play was Sore Losers: Riot Grrrrrrrl. (How many rs?)
My (really effing extensive) comments are here.
I could have made it a review if I chose to...but I didn't.
Some updates made to the OP.

It wasn't my cup of tea, but I found the system to be quite impressive during the short time I had with it. And I admit I laughed at the idea too, time for those bimbos to finally realize their true strengths.
