I managed to play Lost Legacy, and I kind of agree with everything you've pointed out with that game.
It's also a bit of a grind-fest. It was kind of annoying.

Do you mind playing my age-old project The Secret of Ludia?
I want to see another person's opinion on the quality of the game, since I really haven't received much since I even started it. I also kind of want to see you slam it. :P

I'm pretty sure the first page of the help menu says "press shift to run but also attract enemies from further away," but whatever. Karsu and I should have spent at least 50 more hours on making the game more accessible.
I'm only on part 3 of V&V so far, but I can understand almost all of what you're saying. It helps that we know a lot of the game isn't as good as we'd like!
Your biggest issue with the battles, I think, is that you're playing on Easy when you meant to play on Normal. That would force you to use your skills more, as well as realize that Energy Shots are powerful healing items in-battle. ::D

It's also really fun as a developer to see where I went wrong, but also what the hell goes through a player's mind. Listening to you be like "oh cool, keys!" is a great reward, even though you don't love everything about the game.

Oh. I actually ended up restarting the entire game because I missed on a character and she died and I switched over to normal while I was at it. I didn't realize about the feats because I was in such a time budget with the recording (this game was also one of my first records so I was so damn nervous while doing it). I am enjoying it otherwise I would have cancelled it, but there are some issues and things that bug me.

Awesomesauce. I just want to make a quick note of one thing...
If you happen to play DF:Venaitura, watch the opening sequence while not recording before actually recording it. It is timed to the music, and any slight pause or slowdown could ruin the entire thing (I've been making attempts to record it for forever!)
And take your time! You're doing a great job so far. There's no need to rush or anything with these things.
Yeah, I'm on part nine now. I'm still really enjoying it, even though you have every right to point out the little niggles, and the bigger issues.
