author=J-Manauthor=MagiReally? That is Cherry's next big project of sorts? The idea itself doesn't sound too bad, but the only concern I'd have in terms of having a turn based battle system is enemy movements. Would it allow for enemies to be able to act more than one per turn? Cause if that were possible, that'd be a god send.
2k3 has a hidden power that only reveals itself to those of a pure heart

Also, should I change the ATB Bar's and stuff? They just don't feel... rightish.
The ui still looks default. I'd try changing around more than just that. Or you can wait for cherry's turn based patch to be made public and remove ATB altogether.
IDK. You can set that up if you have all custom attacks for enemies. It might be possible, I will have to play around with turn flags and see if anything interesting happens.
Any suggestions on how to improve battle system?
Just aesthetically... The damage/hit thingie is way too big, at most it needs to be only twice as bigger than your normal text/numbers in order to save some consistency and still be noticeable without taking so much space. The overdrive is also way to different than your other bars (Hp,Sp,Atb) it needs to be slimmer and get rid of the border, perhaps just an underline could do the trick. And lastly, get rid of those ugly ---Passive--- separators and instead just make icons to differentiate between skills.
Thanks to WIP indirectly, I was able to get some games of mine back.

I want it to have that adventure feel. So if there's anything to add let me know. Otherwise, it looks decent to me.

It's a stone town. I can't really put to many random things in it. So you'll have to help me out here.
For once, I am going to side with drek here. He is using VX and there is like a grand total of 3 stone tiles
I'll find another screen in a forest and see if I can get help on that since there are more than 3-5 of those tiles in the very limited VX selection.
@Chairmandrek, go check out rmvx.net and look over their resources, there's alot of variety lately specially from Lunarea. And you could totally do better than those..."houses"
That said...FFFFFFFFFFFFFF WIP

This is so adorable I am melting...
Can we talk sometime?
That's a fancy dwadle you have there. Are you planning on animating the idle? Because the floating dress kinda looks awkward when she walks with physics on the next moment, especially because of how the dress seems to be fluttering up in the wind, making it also look shorter than it does when she walks.
I-I can understand time restraints though.

I'm hardly very far in pre-production, but I'm very near to completing the dialogue/scene script for my game and fleshing out all the characters. I'm also wondering whether I should work with hand-drawn or pixel art, neither of which I'm very experienced in. I'm tired of RTP/Rips/Mack and so on.
The only visual concept I have done for my game is the title logo.

I changed the scenario into a loose adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear, especially after watching Kurosawa's Ran. I've always wanted to adapt several of his plays into RPG Maker games. This one is my favorite, so I'm developing it first.

Houses are fine for the town they are in. Oh and RMVX.net has no actual STONE related resources. Well, SOLID stone anyway.
I just released it.
If you play it, I hope you like text.
This is pretty win. I like the logo text too.

You need to add more "house" to the houses. They are far too small. For one thing, they have no depth. Secondly, learn to use the shift key when placing tiles. The auto-tiling around the houses looks really awkward.
i think you could've spent 10 days on it and not made it look good. VX's graphical architecture is criminally useless and they should all be fired
