*sigh* Mannnnn...how I have been rusty in the past couple of days... I dunno, whenever I manage to find time to work on my stuff, I just seem to get a bit distant from it, you know? Hmmmm...

Well, trying to get back to work really hard on my stuff again. Writing down a bunch of game ideas / more menus...yep, that's my entire day in a nutshell.

Trying to figure out how to simulate a pseudo 3d visual effect in FP view in 2k3 using as little picture variations as possible...

Too bad the gasmask covers up his expression mostly! Even still, I've been having fun working on more modern outfits. No more fantasy and capes! Now it's all hoodies and tennis shoes.
Please tell me that's the wish story.

No but it's taking a lot of inspiration from that. In fact that character stole the wish's main character's hair. Just on smaller sprites.

About to put this douche into an emotionset. I forewent the shock emotion for him, but I have his base files still so I can add one whenever I like.
I can see why hes a douche, he looks rather big headed as well haha. There is something about the collar that looks a bit off also the heads a bit big in comparison to the rest of the body IMO, however if this is the style you are going for it looks nice.

Big head is intentional to imply that he's younger than the rest of the cast. Gabby and Rosalin are 23, Emile is 24, but Sidian is 17 and looks younger than his age to boot (part of the reason he smokes like a chimney).

But by big-headed as in arrogant, yeah, he's that too.

As for the collar...hm. I think it's serviceable for now. The res the characters appear at make it less noticeable. I could spend forever fixing every minor detail, but I'd never get the game done if I did that. Especially with art hnngghh

I was going to say it's a little long, but you seemed to end it about the time I started thinking that. Good job.
Writing up cutscenes, character biographies, databasing, mapping and balancing enemy encounters. Jack of all trades, master of none. ^^

@Deckiller : looks tough, great mapping, the boat swing's a neat idea.
Back on track! Almost around 5 hours of straight work on my project and the menu madness CONTINUES (fu...)!!!

Progress be very slow...but progress, nonetheless.

Tomorrow, and the rest of the week, useless menu options and battle HUD's! Yay! :D

Working on Blood Rose's database. I'm thinking about making the equipment tabs to have very little customize ability and have the player more focused on other gameplay aspects (like the Skill Tree and alchemy).

edit: and now thinking about how FFX-2 handled equipment (two accessories) and doing it like that.
