my only issues with the screen are that the numbers on the hp/mp (or whatever you're calling them) bars are REALLY tiny and difficult to read, and that the hills don't seem like they'd contrast against the bright grass of the ground very well in action

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Finally my Final Fantasy MUD
Like, the game is seventeen years old and still getting active updates. That's not normal, right? Who spends seventeen years on a text-based adaptation of Final Fantasy games? (No one, actually - zero members of the original staff remain.)
Rebezion you motherfucker how dare you be so damned good. If this is you trying I'd hate (though would also likely shed a tear in respect and probably awe) to see you going whole hog.
In the fortnight that remains, I have optional content to finish up, already started on this in small ways, such as making the tents in evergrove explorable, some neato underground areas and other just fun shit in earlier tiers, just tonight I drew an outline for what remains of Q4 2014 and yes it appears there is a lot to do, but that's never stopped me before.
I also drew a chart for how tiers will seg-way into each other. Finally on the final note, I updated the space monkey pirate spritesheet for all 8 of them seen here.
Ooh, forgot to add the scarf to Zinyi, will do that.
This will be the last update on progress. The Final fortnight of trepidation and relentless development begins now, and such does my displacement here.

I wrote a function for my game that takes all the numbers and turns them into binary and writes it to a file and another function that reads all the binary and turns them all into numbers and writes it to the game ;_;

I'm digging the sprites and faces, BizarreMonkey. Your art style has that charm to it that I just like a lot.
Still working on dialogue/eventing. I was writing up a story synopsis for beta5, but decided to stop since I work best when actually working instead of planning ahead of time. It's NEVER worked out that way for me. I've deviated from the original scripts so much that it's pointless for me to use them. For instance, in the current scenario/arc, the character Hope has to go around and save everyone from their depression/gloom/anger/etc. before being able to face off against Gloom. In the original scripts, Gloom is never mentioned at all (like...ever. Despite her being one of the seven components of Pandora). It's kinda crazy how that works out eh?
Oh, and now all of the components of Pandora have actual names (except Chaos's which isn't Greek at all and just a name I made up. There were no good Greek names to give her. The most ironic thing is Hope's, which actually IS the actual Greek mythological name used alongside Pandora. Kinda funny how THAT works out huh?
I'm curious though, how many of you work better by planning or by just working ahead without planning because planning things ahead never works out at all?

I do A LOT better when I plan beforehand. Whenever I make it up as I go along, everything ends up jumbled up to hell and back and the game itself makes no sense. When I come up with what will happen and when, I have a better idea of what will fit the most at a certain part of the game.

Currently working on the latest update to Illuminated Badassery 3. Turns out there were several bugs I missed, welp. So if anyone's planning on playing it for RMN Plays or whatever, I'd wait until I release said update; I should be done in the next few days or so.
