Does bossing my artists to make stuff while I do nothing count as working?
I sure do like doing nothing, but then... I am starting to feel anxious about getting back into gam mak.
Not a whole lot I can do with PFC until a proper input script is made.
Xiie made a neat outline of Esperia's new portrait though.

Just finished work on Boned, should be up in about 4-10 hours, assuming the web beavers are more accepting than they were last time, presentation for this one is definitely nicer, but it's not something I've really tried before so I'll have to see how it goes.
Also my Spriter is getting radical work done while I chip away at old projects waiting for the MV controller input support I need.

That's GORGEOUS.
MV's character generator has a god-awful selection of expressions, so last night I took some time to do some GIMP edits of the generated faces I made for a game I'm starting on.



Just some cursory work on a character generator. Select a sprite, modify its colors.

Added a few things to it this morning which aren't in the video, like the default palette being sorted by hue which makes it easier to pick out the right colors to modify. Also finally got around to adding an InputBox() widget to my GUI module, because for whatever reason I just never got around to it--so you can name characters and whatever. Also never added a slider widget, which I think I'll do today so I can have RGB sliders for specific colors. And I think I'll add a specific "skin tone" column to the presets since it's hard to pick them out as they are.

It's been a great day for work. I have gotten much done towards setting up the new Perseverance engine for MV, I've found some good input scripts, nothing for mouse yet, but I'll be keeping all events within one map for the time being so I can sort all the stuff out. The whole game is going to have to be restructured, and I knew this would be a factor before I even hit convert.
That said, there were some things I wanted to vastly improve on anyway.

It mysteriously went from doing 0 damage to 32000 without any change to the formula , caster or target, so I'm as baffled as you are.
