GIVING FEEDBACK: PASS OR FAIL
Posts
Oh I wasn't saying it would change anything, but you were asking if there's a way to get money or recover health in the vid XD
I can't stop laughing around 2:20 onwards, hahahahaha you were amazing there.
Oh and the name of the font is Morpheus (for the title screen script by hanzo)

ANOTHER MAXIMUM DAMAGE ?!?
ARRGH this FEEEEEELING, Aaaaaaaarrrgghh...
OH. MY. GOD SUPER GIGA ATTACK FROM HELL!
...HOW are we going to go any higher, I mean we are already doing the MAXIMUM XP damage...
Yes, the intro is laughable and horrible, but after enduring it, the game is great...well except the story, characters.
SARIAN OFFENSIVE FORMATION!!!!

Hey Creation, I wasn't aware of this Pass/Fail feature you have here untill now, it is great and I enjoy watching the videos, they are informative and ammusing.
Thank you for taking the time to do my game.
Only thing I would like to ask is that is your scoring based solely on the first 15 minutes of the game/demo?
Or do you play the rest of the game/demo off screen?
Because some games/demos can be very long and the first 15 minutes will not cover all the games mechanics and such.
Regarding my game, for the 15 minutes time scale maybe you should have skipped the intro seeing as that you only got to actually play for a few minutes.:)
But I should have stated how long the intro was when you get the chance to skip it.
So thats my fault, I'll add that on the next release.
Anyway I hope you continue doing this, it is a great feature while being helpful and entertaining.

@NewBlack:
Well, I mean, have you ever seen any worse?
@AoA:
It's for the first 15 minutes of the game. In your case it was more like 17-18 minutes as the intro was so long I decided to keep going to show some mechanics.
It really is a shame because if your intro was done better (IMHO), you would've scored a lot higher considering all of the other aspects were really well done.
On the bright side, the intro is something relatively easy to fix. I should also say that it's not the plot that bothered so much as the way your story was told. In other words, I thought the plot was actually interesting, but the way you delivered the story could use some work.
Well, about that, it's kind of part of the whole deal. I mean, if the player isn't exposed to at least some of the game mechanics in the first 15 minutes, then I think the intro of the game is flawed.

I watched that clip of Amulet of Athos and I thought "Is all of that really relevant?". I got the feeling alot of potential backstory was pushed into the intro. I was surprised when the controls finally went to the gamer, you were someone and somewhere completely elsewhere.
Just suggesting now, you could put some of it as flashbacks or for later reveal. It felt like a big info dump.

@Creation, thanks for clearing that up.
I agree with this statement if you mean the first 15 minutes of Gameplay (once you have control) not the Intro. Intro's in most games are skippable and you will not see any game mechanics in them, just some history of the plot.
But i'll definitely look into condensing the intro in any further releases.
Anyhow, I thank you again for taking the time to make the video and for your feedback. It is very helpful.
I am quite supprised that it still got quite a high score for just 15 minutes of intro and a couple of minutes of gameplay. :)
@Zephyr, Thanks for feedback.
You are right, maybe I could have spread out the content of the intro over the course of the game.
But the Intro is like a prologue of the game, The main game is focused around the new characters and is much more fast paced then the intro, therefore there is no suitable place to add that info during the game, if you know what I mean. XD
Keep up the great videos Creation, they are fun to watch. :)

No I think he meant the first 15 minutes of the entire game. A skip feature doesn't really solve the problem because it makes the intro seem irrelevant in the first place (it's really for people playing the game for the second time or something).

There are. I am pretty sure.
also:
blablabla sex island lalala
blablabla don't worry I come here often lalala
Charming.
Definitely a joke game. Or... badly done H-game, but I think it's the former.
I actually have been reading the blogs for this game and I'm pretty sure it was a serious game as unbelievable as it sounds!
