THE SCREENSHOT TOPIC RETURNS

author=Fugueauthor=Aveemany insane people in fact believe they are "supersane"
I suppose Sanity affects your stats. Therefore I would understand how you can get over 100%, but yeah maybe "sanity" isn't the best term to use.
I'll pretend I didn't see that chipset error. Next time you won't be so lucky....
Fugue: The tiny patches of tall grass look awkward due to how square the autotile is. If you make nice, big patches like the ones on the upper-left and upper-right sides of the screenshot, they'll look a lot better. I say kill the 1-tile patch and expand that 2x2-tile patch out a bit more. Otherwise, looks pretty interesting.
That said, having lived in Maine for twenty-two years I can't say that I've ever seen a deciduous tree bigger than the native coniferous trees. XD
Yes. Yes, that lady is utilizing a monocle.
Lowering the boxes down is definitely plausible. We'll see; I like how compact they are, but I did like the Devilkiller setup as well. EXPERIMENTATION GO
I'd spread them out, but they slide around when side-menus appear -- if they were any wider, they'd be partially pushed off-screen by them! So, the width isn't likely to change.
Well, max Energy is always 7. The tiny bar for that is pretty much just for decoration.
...and for HP, hmm. I could try putting a little "/2500" next to the current HP, I suppose. Again, EXPERIMENTATION GO
Re: Sanity, at 101-200% Sanity, you are shielding yourself from than which breaks your mind! And yes, it does affect your stats (mostly your damage dealt). I don't really see the issue of it, since putting it down as a percentage is ridiculously abstract in the first place. I mean, the "SP" in Shadow Hearts 2: Covenant is "SANITY POINTS." Not sure how this is even more abstract than that!
EDIT: Quickly added max HP. I actually like that it eats up a bit more of that awkward blank area. Also, did I mention that Francisco is a snot? Because Francisco is a snot.

Is that a...monocle?
Craze if you don't finish this game I'm coming after you.

Looks good Craze!
As a suggestion... how about lowering the character boxes down to the edge of the screen so the faces aren't as partially obscured by the statistics and then removing the top picture boundary so the entire portrait head can be shown? The black background behind your portraits can end in a fade to transparency like in your Obelisk Devilkiller's battle hud.
Also, if you're planning on sticking with the 3 member party, how about enlarging each character hud "station" and then spreading them out a bit more so you encompass more of the screen's width?

Not being able to see max HP/Energy makes me kind of angry. I can see that it's not full, but that's almost never the only information that I need to know. The difference between being at 1543/2700 HP vs. 1543/3000 HP is actually pretty big when games are as hard as you make them, and affects which healing skill/item I'm gonna use. And although I can take a few seconds to estimate it based on the bar, I don't really want to have to take a few seconds to estimate it, I want it to just be visible. The max HP/Energy digits could be a lot smaller than the current HP/Energy digits, though.

DUN DUN DUN
i am aware of the chipset error that you're talking about (actually completely different and separate from the more minor grass issue craze mentioned). it irks me, but seems native to the chapset in question (the wonderful Celianna's). i don't know how to fix it on the chapset, and i don't have the time (this contest has a deadline! also that map is cloned six or seven times for the sake of special effects so i'd have to fix it six or seven times)/or patience to fix it on the map, so i'll just stay away from that autotile in future maps.

this ain't maine, baby, it's jersey, and that's not just any ordinary tree. it's Deviltry. (as far as general patterns of tree height go, you're generally correct.)
thx for crits guise.
Perhaps the Sanity beyond human measurement means you are transcending to a different plane of knowledge... existence... whatever?
oooh, I like it. the corners of the ceiling tile look a bit awkward, however, seems to be a missing tile there.
but i guess that's why you said it was a wip lulz
is that an original chapset or just one i don't recognize?

The walls, ceiling, spike, floor are all original. I recolored the rocks and added the grooves around the walls from Mother 3.

Nice Tileset Tau, that water looks super disgusting (I mean that in a good way!). Can't wait to splash around in it.

Updated the main menu, for my All Hallow's submission: They Come~
i don't know why, but some of the scraps of paper sitting on top of the book look like crackers or pastries to me
author=FugueHaha, maybe the main character's saving them for later? (You're also not the first person to mistake that thing for food~ xD)
