How did you pull it off? A picture?
It's a changing panorama which looks like this:



Below the water there are water autotiles which DO NOT MOVE THE NORMAL WAY. I made 2 different chipsets that are equal except the water autotile.

A parallel process changes the panorama graphic AND Tileset each 0.5 seconds.
The weird thing is: It should stop when a textbox is showed, but for some reason it doesn't... don't know why, but it's the way I wanted it to be of course. :-)
That's pretty swish.

For future reference, the reason it's not stopping is to do with your "message display options" and "allow others events to continue processing" being enabled. :)
That's was my first thought too, but when I tried similar stuff out in the past, it had no effect changing that option... weird

e.g. it was not possible for me to change a picture with "show screen" again and again the same way as with the panorama... for some reason
A different EXE perhaps? I know cherry released some tool that allows picture events to continue even with a text box showing.

Problem is, the menu in the title screen ruins it a little when the game opens up, and covers it. But not all it.

Hopefully RPGMaker20XX can fix my problems, and can move menu title screens.

But overall, great. Got about 1000 more fonts, yay.

Yes, but no connection, I even searched it before your post. I couldn't think of a good title, though. And the game wouldn't have anything to do with. I know SOLDIER has nothing to do Final Fantasy VII, but I might change that game name. Keeping Dreamwalker, :)

@ Nessy - I like it. But, of course, I always say that with everything you manage to do or draw. Just a quick question, "What's up with the three coloured rupees?"

@ Deacon - Why is that the sky just...doesn't seem right. It's like, it looks a bit...strange, to me. Oh well... I guess it's fine. I like water. :D

Yeah, was waiting for someone to say that :p, I know I was trying to remove useless projects, that I properly stop making, to reduce the size of projects I have, maybe too much ideas I have, that keep popping out, because if I get bored getting things done with other projects, my two projects should be more interesting then the others.

As long as my dialogue isn't shit.

But basically Dreamwalker(slowly developing, had this story idea for years) and Kingdom Frontiers is my main projects, that are still up for grabs of my and your interest, Walls of Dendri was denied to due to no three screenshots, but lost interest, so I will end up removing it my pc soon. : )

RPG Maker 2000 projects, for that matter, well, SOLDIER, not yet complete, will remade and on hiatus, so I can level down the projects I have. Some of the projects I had was ones that I was writing for stories I'm doing. As they'll be forever in hiatus.

I have to know which projects that are more fancy and which ones are more cluttered up for no reason just to fill my project files.

Anyway, hope to post some screenshot sometimes soon on Godhand, and properly look at all my projects that aren't interesting to work on anymore. Really, need to at least work on 3-4 projects maximum, clearly I can't really keep up with my projects, your right.

and I thought I was bad. But you've got a number of completed games there, and you're definitely not working on all of those at the same time. Benos seems to be.

Whatever's interesting, that's all. Not gonna make a game where a evil seal is broken after 1000 because the evil got butthurted over hero killing his demon mommy.

I'm around final stages fpr the Kingdom Frontiers demo, just need to finish up other boss fights in the arena, it's just a small piece of it, bosses galore, but I'm delaying it abit. Dreamwalker though, maybe I leave it on hiatus for awhile.

I deleted some projects, just keep the ones I'm interested in, and sucks to have too many ideas, because of the mapping. That's about it. Kingdom Frontiers won't have paper maps, and will end up in chipset format again. But will have a different world exploration.
