Yeah, it looks like it was hand made... For a second I thought I saw it from somewhere, but nope, it looks 100% genuine. Nice work. :D
EDIT: Crap, new page and I got nuthin'. Oh well.

Nice,simple, effective, easy to navigate, just perfect except for those icons for weapons, they really don't fit the style of panel.
Hadn't really thought about the icons, but you're right.
Yep, it's definitely the campaign cartographer thing that made that map look familiar.
@DFalcon: I don't really like the GUI/HUD! But I'd be hard pressed to tell you why. Sorry, I know that's really crappy feedback. Something about it just seems off/unappealing to me, but I don't feel like I know enough about interface design to say what.

@ShortStar
Some of the trees in that screenshot are cut off, like where the two types of large trees come together at the top-left and left-hand side. The trees on the top of the screen by the river are cut off, too. And I'm pretty sure that rafflesia flowers don't grow on water. :p
Speaking of water, why not use the ones that are meant to go with Mack's grass?
---------
A desert palace's throne room at night. Are the lights and tint okay?
(I know the candles near the throne are missing a light, but there's not much I can do about it except trial-and-error tests with a light overlay. x_x If it even matters that much...)

@Melkino. That looks really good. The colors, the tiles and the grandness of it all.
Seen below is 1 of 5 swamp maps that have nothing to do with the last forest I posted.

-The throne room's really beautiful! (Sorry, i didn't find anything to criticize=no feedback!)
- The swamps: the watery part doesn't lool like swamps,also i don't understand the big chimneys amongst the trees, nor the few dead trees when all the others are green.

Looks like I failed at this. I'll make the chimney's more rock. Aren't there dead trees in healthy forests?
Someone on another forum wanted to barf because the trees were all the same. Having dead trees was just an effort to add spice. But it doesn't matter.

There's a difference between varying the trees and changing the type of tree. Just shifting leaf formations a little bit on some could help it out. (not that I really see a problem with how it is now)
@benos
Is that music from Ascendance? I'm pretty sure that it's one of Rei's original tracks. It brings back sweet memories. XD
@Melkino
That throne room is pretty cool. Though when I first saw it, for some reason I thought that there was a modern day city outside the windows. Maybe that's just me. Love the pillars and the chandelier. =)

Yep, had to find some sweet music for a calming/type moving/emotional strings for a title screen, I don't want this game is have alot of "happy tunes" though. Or this game to be very dark.
I know Rei said he would gather up his resources sometime and share them. I asked him about it. :)

While I am working with an NES style so things will look simpler, I think this is what psy_wombats means by shifting the tree formations a bit. This also reflects a transition point between two separate zones, hence the two types of trees:
Small dialouge piece of Lord Of The Elendor and choices. :P
Yes, before you say anything, I'll continue to model the room. So yeah! :p
No, she's not supposed to have that earpiece. lol.

WHICH CHOICE SHOULD I TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE?

Yeah, I did say I'll continue to model the room, and now that someone would say that. Thanks anyway.
Why does her character set have long hair, yet her face graphic shows she has short hair?
@Shortstar: It's sort of okay, though I can't understand why the trees have chimney-like objects. Also, I don't believe that Rafflesias grow on water (the red flowers).
