Thanks, Max!
Before anybody freaks out, I imported a few Ace graphics. Easy to do yourself if you want the lava/pillars. The Bomb Shelter map is still rather WIP-ish. Obviously stupid parts are stupid.
Craze
Could it be... Edifice 2.0...? (Map names are temporary.)
Thanks, Max!

Wait, what the crap is a bomb shelter and/or a place called "Habitat #481-R" doing in Edifice or for that matter in the same game as an RTP witch.
Please explain what genre this is and how your narrative/setting integrates science and sorcery.

RTP witch is temporary, the actual MC is Mortana, one of the gods of death. I haven't done her sprite yet. It's not Edifice because it has nothing to do with Edifice; this is set in the Krazuman world (it is, in that sense, distantly related to Visions & Voices). It's Edifice 2.0 in that it uses the same High HP With (Almost) No Healing gimmick, but within six static dungeons and with a static party (in that the characters cannot be changed; your five dudes are ridiculously customizable).
There is a Bomb Shelter and the ruined city of Levinheim and other places because all of the locations are from other Krazuman games that Karsuman and I... simply have not made yet. (The Bomb Shelter is actually from a game that is set in an archaeological dig site due to typical THE ANCIENTS WERE SOMEHOW TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED, you even recruit one of their old androids). It's Kingdom Hearts: the Krazuman game. Except instead of Disney movies, it's games that don't exist...
If you're questioning why Dragon's Hold and a Bomb Shelter are in the same game, you're asking the wrong questions!
EDIT: Actually I just realized that it's more closely related to V&V than expected, but it's not something anybody would get until Karsu and I begin our Ace series.

Last screenshot I'll post here for a while, part of Dragon's Hold. The game profile is pending, so ~ ! (EDIT: Forgot some shadows, oops. Pretend they're there!)
Max, I feel bad for the lonely southwest part of the map.
Craze, Nor Wyrmgarde looks great. It's got kind of a Dark Souls/Demon Souls feel to it, obviously much more low res but I can still see it. Are those black square holes shaped a little like puzzle pieces meant to be man made features like windows or are they damage that's occurred. If they're damage, they shouldn't be lined up so neatly like that. If they're man-made features, okay, I just hope there's another one past the edge of the right side tapestry, for symmetry and all that.
Also those two pedestals look kind of like they should have something on them, unless they are for shooting dudes who are trying to scale the castle walls.
I noticed the same thing when I was uploading it, actually! I'm considering moving some stuff around, but then again in real life geographical distribution of population and landmarks isn't exactly even, either.

Thanks! Ace tiles are <3. Regarding the holes, they're man-made windows, and there's not another one because all maps are 17x13 (one screen). As for the platforms, they're for chests; I haven't actually laid out the dungeon properties yet.

VIDGAM IS NOT REAL LIFE
(I also want to have exactly 10 locations, 5 dungeons and 5 towns. Those are kind of magic numbers for the game. Maybe I will move Addison Plantation south.)
Edit: I fixed something that was REALLY bothering me.

Downloaded 2K3 a day or two ago and tried my hand at mapping. How's it look? Any advice from you more experienced users?

@ Scourge: A lot better than a lot of experienced RTP users actually! Although the shaded parts on the red roofs are kinda weird. Also I think there are better wall tiles for the entrance, as of right now it just sort of cuts off. There should be some with the edge.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.
5958
Looks okay from my end, though there's not much to see in that screenshot. Hard to tell if the objects match each-other when there are so few objects visible. Maybe post a wider screenshot of the whole city/sector?
The top part of the bottom-most crate is missing, by the way.

Think he just took a screenshot while the map editor was in Upper Tile editing mode.
Agree with the praise though; if that's your first try with RTP, you've clearly got a gift...
Some minor innovations for Journeyman.

1) Monster Bait and Monster Repellent to increase/decrease the likelihood of world map encounters. The repellent also makes the on-touch encounters in dungeons run away from you which is fun to watch. Both will be craftable in-game using alchemy, naturally. (The thing on the lower right which you might not have seen in previous screenshots of your house is an arcanist's circle, used in spellcraft.)

2) Visual encounter system that tells you how close you are to a random battle by the color of the icon in the lower left. The more blue it is the further you are from a random battle and the more red it is...you get the idea.

Totally not untrue. In fact I almost mentioned that in the post.
But they make the gameplay better in areas where it was lacking. And it's also not in any absolute terms the only new thing showcased in the screenshots, so...why so sour?

Finding a bunch of scripts you like and copy+pasta-ing them into your game as-is isn't an "innovation" or +1 feature, it's the hallmark of shitty VX design. I'm glad that you added an event sprite of a magic circle though, so that there's something other than yanfly scripts that are new
