THE SCREENSHOT TOPIC RETURNS

This is my layout of a police office. I think it lacks some sort of attractions and looks bland. Any advice on this? :(

Also, I was trying to recolor this sprite so the guy will have a black shirt. The new one is on the right. Why does it seem like he has something black sticking out compared to the original one? I am aware that it has a black outline, but I didn't touch anything else. :O

I Havent showed anything for months.
So here I go!
This is from my current project. A small side project to take a rest from my other project Dragunbane.
This game is being developed in rpg maker vx ace.
Everything you see in the screenshot is made by me :)
the characters got 6 frames walk cycle + running so far ^^
Have been thinking to submit the project but I'm a very shy person XD

hushed whispers upon only the most secretive and wizardly of lips tell of a thing called a "template", lost to time but known within our hearts
legend has it that there are rudraic sheets that still exist unscathed by filthy peasants and brigands
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

@Mr_Detective: Police office looks okay but there should be papers everywhere. Looks papers and binders of papers totally covering all the desks, and one or more free-standing bulletin boards (or dry-erase boards) in the middle of the room covered in photos and clippings.
It's a pretty good layout. It's just lacking mayhem.
@Ellenor: You need to submit the hell out of this game. I'm not sure how you would cook anything in that giant coal pit though. There's no spigot over it for roasting a pig or anything, which makes it look like something you'd see in a sauna. I guess you could just put marshmallows on sticks and hold them over the coals. But adding a contraption to hold food or soup over the coal pit would make more sense. Otherwise the map looks fantastic, and very different from what I'm used to seeing around here.

Maybe it's like the medieval fantasy version of a hibachi grill
And they don't care if their food gets tossed directly on the dirty coal, because they are filthy peasants who don't know any better

or or or
it's the first teppanyaki grill
they cook it up right there on the coals and throw knives around and stuff it's really neat

Haha. Well about the thing that has caused so much debate...
It is only made for heat. Not cooking on XD
The kitchen is behind the curtains :P

I haven't done any HUD work yet, but tiles are displaying in-battle now. It's a start!
working on N-Boathhouse

I'm curious as to I have never used any of the main makers since rm95, what isometric perspective are you using? does ace natively support isometric chip sets and characters similar to nrm2k or is that some kind of panorama and if so is that one picture or many pictures?
