Here's a new video for a game I've been working on sporadically for the last two years. It shows a bit of the atmosphere I'm going for as well as some exploration. Any thoughts?
@CuteLittleDoggieAvatar aka SuperShadyShadow: The biggest issue in that map is that the waterfalls come from nowhere and that the water isn't running like the waterfalls indicate (instead it's frozen over which, well, it wouldn't be if waterfalls were falling into it).
Here, I just whipped that up for you. It fits the waterfall colours and the ground. Also, try using some of the darker tile (there is a version for that ground) to break up the blank floor a little.
Lastly, check out this tutorial on shift mapping.

It never occurred to me when I saw this picture the first time, but... this is a hospital, right? How do the poor people confined to wheelchairs get down to the entrance? Aside from that, I think it looks nice! I WILL NEVER HIRE YOU TO DESIGN MY PROPERTIES, THOUGH!

It's simple. You don't treat people in wheelchairs.
@Schwer-von-Begriff
Nice chipset overall, I like it!

Maybe not, but a hospital without wheelchair access is pretty weird (especially considering many patients are transported through entryways via wheelchair).
Just a little nitpick, the map still looks ace!
@UPRC: Ah! The right side will be changed to give people that rely on a wheelchair a way to get up there. My first try at creating such a thing looked horrible though, that's why this hospital does not support equality right now. ^^' Or maybe I'm just evil. They can come in with help. But they can never leaaaaave~ Just joking.
Thanks for the criticism and compliments, you two. :)

You should have a bunch of people in wheelchairs on the second floor who can't get down and, behind them, there would be a bunch of those ghosts from the Phantom Train in FF6 saying, "NO ESCAPE!"
Could always make one of the staircases a ramp :o
edit: and that's simply beautiful, Joseph!

I think you should add one guy in a wheelchair and name him UPRC just because of all the fuss :D
Updated my map

I've been trying lighting effects but none so far fit.
Hope it looks better :/
Thanks to Liberty for the water tileset!

@Liman: I think I will put an NPC in there that mentions the wheelchair problem. :)
@SuperShadyShadow: You could work with light colors of the rainbow. That gives the icy area a certain fantastic atmosphere. Or you could work with light and dark blue colors to give it an icy feeling. (Btw, are you perhaps a Hetalia fan?)

I'm kind of having trouble interpreting the rainbow part.
Are you getting the Hetalia part from my icon?
@SuperShadyShadow: Do you know these sparkling light reflections that sometimes happen with ice? Combined with some kind of Northern Lights that could look really cute. And yes I am. :)

Any feedback for this particular part of the Quartz Quarry for Wyrm Warriors would be much appreciated!
I'm planning on making parts of the wall in the mine shaft passable under so that they look like support beams passing overhead. For now I just mapped it out the way it'll look.
There's height issues all around, with the connection of the roof of the crystal indicating same height but the actual walls being different heights. Also, some are taller than the inner walls, keep an eye out for that~
...I have some white crystal walls/roof if that would suit better (what with quartz being white and all)... You also missed a wall for the side indent on the right and the middle of the quartz area (though I have a feeling that that's deliberate it looks rather odd. Looks very unique so far, though. Good job~

Thanks, Libby <3 If you don't mind, I would like to use that white crystal please! I actually looked up the color of quartz before I started and made a big frowny face when I realized the closest I had was blue.
Also, ugu, I see what you mean about the height! By the way, I've made my metal walls more square in shape - I think it may be better that way!

The floor just looks a bit random and iffy, gourd. Not sure if it looks that way when you zoom, though. Also, there's those beams that go over the rails that look like they have 0 thickness. Perhaps edit the tlie so that there is a little thickness indicator to how thick those beams can be? It's very imaginative though, I'll give you that.
