In a distant future, humanity has abandoned earth… facing near-extinction by a colossal alien threat.

Overview
Ciel Fledge is a game about raising an adopted daughter in a future world that still has hope. Featuring compelling management gameplay and a loveable cast of characters, it’s up to you to take care of Ciel until she reaches adulthood and becomes ready to fledge the nest.

Schedule
How will you raise Ciel? Using a helpful schedule with touch-screen controls on Nintendo Switch, plot each day of the week and see what happens as the days unfold. Choose classes and hobbies, and encourage Ciel to make friends. Or take a part-time job to earn more money, and enjoy nicer meals for dinner.

Supervize
Monitor daily activities, and watch how Ciel behaves. Keep an eye on mood, as Ciel might abandon activities if she becomes too tired. Boost stamina with items, spoil Ciel with a generous allowance, or scold her when she skips school. It’s your responsibility to choose how to deal with her.

Battle
The trials of daily life take the form of challenging puzzle battles: complete an activity, or pass a class test, by winning at strategic match-three card games. Learn techniques and build friendships to gain extra support in battle.

Grow
Every choice affects how Ciel grows. Track progress each week and see how her stats and relationships have changed – with hundreds of unlockable character traits that can affect Ciel’s interactions and abilities in battle.

Customise
Each Ciel is unique to the player. With a range of outfits, equipment, and multiple endings to the game, it’s up to you to shape what kind of person she becomes. Her age, height, and even weight will change as the years pass by.

Explore
Send Ciel on expeditions to the surface of Earth to explore and discover new areas of the old world. Scavenge useful items, and work with friends to fight enemies for a huge stat increase.

Unwind
Lose yourself in the wholesome sights and sounds of the city, and ease into the daily routine of ARK-3. Featuring an enchanting art-style, and a smooth instrumental soundtrack inspired by Japanese City Pop.

Ciel Fledge Release Date Announcement

Hi everyone, so it's finally confirmed. The release date for Ciel Fledge is on 21 February 2020!

For Kickstarter backers, in case you read this and haven't check the new update yet, here's the link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1878957206/ciel-fledge-a-daughter-raising-sim-game/posts/2702065

There are also some changes that we think you want to know, the game is now titled as 'Ciel Fledge: A Daughter Raising Simulator'. It will be available on Steam (PC/Linux) and Nintendo Switch and will support four languages: French, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.

Other than that, all there is to do is wait for the release date. On behalf of the team I want to say thank you for all the readers of this blog. It's been quite a while, in fact, I think it's not a while. The development took a long time, It's almost reaching 3 years. There are things that I wish we could've done better and more efficiently to make the development more quick and smooth. It's a very valuable learning experience. We really learn a lot during the development and definitely is something we are going to apply for our next project!

With this, Ciel Fledge development blog will cease other than for important or major updates. Again, I want to say thank you to the faithful readers of this blog. See you on our next project!

They've succeed creating Nusanaka, a big open world game with 30-50 hours gameplay. I have a lot of faith in them :0

And one more bug report, at month of Mu Chepei(?) (I think that's how it spelled) the cooking class score attack froze at victory screen. I had to avoid cooking encounter couple of times ;-; (my poor child is stressed) I can't provide screenshot yet since I forgot and I have replace my save file, maybe I'll replay this game again and try to get the screenshot to help. (I should've keep a couple of save files orz)

3 years time get island at clear? Get at first "year" team ready?
Sounds at there at some time get items at shopping/fishing...

At Princess makers, there are effects at chat... ( More/less stress, or/and more/less motivation) ... Now it not see any effect, but i quest full at it are, or not...
Edit2: although some maybe use Save after good/load at if happening something bad... ( Skipped, There was too high decrease some... and so on... )
Edit3: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT THE ARK! I get wery nerwous now :( , and sad. Torrents! Who even discovered them!

Thanks at PinkPigeon at that bug found... me wasn´t meet any bug at these quizes...
Anyway, There should do be at Military jobs, but also "artist helping " jobs...
Nah, Craft or what ever it was should be well, and charm some ( about little more than 75) ... Or It was yours choice...

Ah i see. Demo 4 at year 3? with updated thinks. I was calcutaded my self at without these new moon droppings stats get at "Ciel" at 18 about more than player... Now these stay... maybe too low? I don´t sure.

Thanks for the feedbacks! The game is still in Alpha so there are lots of unfinished stuff such as the store content and stats balancing. We may also change and adjust stuffs in the game such as graphics and gameplay in the final version.

Hello! I really like your game but when having battles on different situations (tutorials and throughout the week) There´s always thus bug that forbids me from keep playing though

This happened with the 0.37 version;



Most of the bugs happened in tutorials, and also when I used special techniques in battles.

Can I do something about it? lately I´m just avoiding techniques and skipping tutorials

Hi, thank you for the report! I'm sorry for the inconvenience, It's happening because I forgot to update the download link to 0.38 version. The new 0.38 version is available to download now, hopefully it fixed all the mentioned bugs.

Hy7mkyhmk! I haven´t my self at ealier version at that problerm... Maybe just now waiting Longer demo, which is rumored cam center of april, or center of 3 month...
i am high feelings that will be like yours great rpg/zeik...

Another suggestion- not really a bug but there's a volume problem especially on Score Attack, Fight Battle and on Exploration. It's too loud.

This is quite a cool game, and I look forward to it's completion. I do have some suggestions (and a couple questions) that I hope will further the games' development.

While I realise that this may have to do with the game not being finished, I feel there should be more events (i.e. cutscenes) for some occasions. Like, when the new year turns over, the anniversary of picking up Ciel, I think there should be some kind of event here. Maybe also for some other characters birthday, though that is a lot of events to do, so I'd understand if that isn't feasible.

Again, I know this is possibly due to the game being in early stages, but the battles seem really easy right now. I assume that you don't want to them to be too difficult anyway, since it's more of a casual-ish simulation game, and that it would get harder as the years go on.

I'm not sure if the parent's stats actually mean anything? Are they just there for show, do they have a greater purpose, or is this something to be done in future builds?

I haven't seen anything happen due to raising friendship levels with other characters. Is that still in the works, or am I missing something?

Discipline seems like a stat that you don't even have to consider, and I've always had it at 100. It seems really easy to keep it there just with the rests and activties.

The normal theme that plays when you're at home (HomeTheme.ogg file), when the trumpet(organ???) at 1:43 starts playing, it sounds a bit discordant and grating, though maybe that's just me.

For the nurse occupation for the parent, it says 2x rest effects, but it doesn't seem to effect stress and mood regen. I'm guessing it only effects stamina, but then that's a bit misleading.

Speaking of occupations, first time players aren't really going to know what the different origins and occupations mean for them since they wouldn't know about things like exploring or what skills are and such.

I also think that down the line, having some specific events based on your origin and occupation would be good and increase replay value.

So, yeah. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for playing the game! Various events surrounding the calendar holidays and NPC's birthday is actually planned and will be in the game! But as you sa,y the game is still in early stages, our effort in development are now focused in finishing chapter 3 and the main story of the game, so flavor event and side-story is currently in the backlog now.

For now, the parent's stats doesn't mean anything except for flavor text. But, parent traits you chose in the beginning of the game do affect Ciel's growth. We are still considering to do something with the stats in the future, though.

You are not missing anything, it is again, due to the game still in its early stages. Some of the planned features when you raise friendship levels are more event, ending flags, and their technique in battle (the face pop-up you can click to "summon" them) will get stronger.

Yeah, this is one of our concern too, most player may seem lost at the beginning... We will think for a better workaround for this.

I had an eye on this because the graphics looked solid and the concept sounded cool, but Nusakana was an indie gem. I'm really looking forward to the release.
