01) If you take down the mimics it removes presents from your save file, but not from your key items.

02) Theirs a mapping mistake in the workshop that allows you to get behind the counter. Apparently you can walk over the Christmas decorations on the counter for some weird reason.

03) There's also a minor mapping glitch on one of the rock faces in town as well.

Thanks from the let's play, it was fun to see.

The maximum presents you can get is 10, 8 in the town, 1 in the Roaring Caverns and 1 you get if you beat the final boss.
