Beasts of Hamelin is a short mystery RPG constructed within the limitations of the RPG Maker FES (3DS) tool set. That said, if you have a 2DS or 3DS and are looking for an afternoon of intrigue the game is completely free to play (yay!).
Story:
Damion is a Shepard, a government paid mercenary who does his best to keep the beasts at bay in the quaint village of Hamelin. All is well until the day a local boy goes missing. Interrogate villagers and locate the boy- before it's too late.
Features:
Mission quests (you are a mercenary afterall)
On screen enemies (no random encounters)
4 solid hours of gameplay plus an-
Endless epilogue dungeon
Player customized housing
Nice maps (I like mapping, okay?)
Competently written dialogue
Doesn't suck

CloseNice game! I like the mapping and dialogue but man shed monster is kicking my ass! Doesn't seem to be any places to farm money/grind levels. Any tips? Also, i feel like the attack boost skill doesn't really help much for that fight. Pretty keen to complete this game.

Heh thank you! Because game making is just a hobby for me, I take it as a personal challenge to make RTP assets look good. It isn't always easy. :P
