- After a battle, you now have 1 second of invulnerability / immunity to average enemies. You can plow through them without having to fight them. There is a note telling you too.

In a mine south east of Eraki, there were falling boulders, which should not have been there at all. They are now removed. These rocks were a game stopper, because you could get blocked in.

There is also a sign to warn people about the mine cart. It is very glitchy if you try to move while you are riding it. So there is a sign specifically warning and reminding the player.

In the ice cave, there was this thing that look like a sword apparently on the floor on the third room (where the blue chests are). When I got to it, not only I couldn't pick it up, but the graphic was actually over my hero's sprite as if it where floating!

In the Hosts' den, I found the chest with the electric guitar, but couldn't find the way to get out of that area.

- Also, in the castle, I noticed a few scrolls on the first floor (the two on the left hand size outside the walls, one in the top right corner room) that can't be picked up. Is it a bug?

- Also, I found the ice cave. I got into the second room but once I opened one of the blue chests it threw me out.

- In the second screen of the mountains, there's this treasure chest and a flashing star near the bottom of some small waterfalls. You can walk across once to get near them, but if you try to do it again you can't reach these treasures.

- I found where Craze's shrine the problem is when you try to leave. Anyway you go to leave the shrine, you here footsteps sounds as if you were leaving but remain in the shrine.

- When you talk to the lady that sells the items, you get a new note in the Notebook called "Catagories". Since you don't have them anymore for the items nor the spells, it is no longer applicable.

- If you talk Enem more than once at the beginning, he can either block the doorway or, worse yet, cause the game to freeze. I actually had seen this one for your demo, but forgot to mention it.

- Remember the switch to the right of the first stairwell of the tower? If you flip it, it causes the game to get stuck.

- Mining freezes the game for 30 seconds when you mine at the same place twice.

- Another Bug: The first switch in the tower malfunctions upon it's second and third use. Just see for yourself.

- In the first dungeon, if you go back to talk to the guy who asks you for a splint he will heal you but his picture remains on the screen even after you move to another map area. This is highly disconserting and makes it very hard to play the game as it takes up almost half the screen.

- Also, both "Cure Orb" and "Heal Orb" at the beginning give a heal orb.

- I'd like to report a bug: No matter how many times I used an equipment ability, and no matter how many kills I got with them, they never get any CP (It was in the first dungeon, if that matters).
ISSUE ---
- a graphical issue: in the indoors, anywhere you have a doorway, you extended the wall, so that when you walk into the room you appear to be walking across a wall; you should change that all those tiles from wall to floor.

- heal is described as "Attack Mind +20" (this is definitely wrong!)

- there are items that you get either from the treasure chests, flashing stars or as drops after fights that once you check don't seem to be added to the inventory (I'm not sure about whether it happens after fights)

- when you get some items from treasure chests or flashing stars, it will be saying you're getting 0 (item name), when you are actually getting 1 of them (I'm not sure about whether it happens with the flashing stars)
ISSUE ---
- sometimes even though the story has advanced, the NPCs will start their conversation by saying the some of the same things as before, before saying the new dialogue (ex. the mayor, after you go to talk to him after rescuing the brothers)
ISSUE ---
- in the menu to buy equipment, you can't see the effect of equipping new equipment for the 4th party member (I got around this by moving that switching my party to move the member to the 2nd or 3rd slots, which is very inconvenient!)

The review I'm working on is of a game I finished last night. I suspect yours will get one as well once I finish playing it. Although, I would like to find all the branches you mention and try to get all the different outcomes.

Regarding what kind of rating your game will get, let's just say I'll try to be fair.
Good luck with finding all the branches! It takes more than one play through. I've seen them all. One of them isn't pretty when the elves chase you. It makes things difficult to get done.

So I started up the game and was beset by a dire lack of capitalization or... interesting dialogue. I understand that this might not be your strong point, but NPCs were utterly and completely trivial as well. "I am on patrol" does not a good soldier make.

Yeah, but some of the other NPCs now say useful things. You should have played the earlier demo ... :-D

Also, I already found your contributions to the game. Although, for the shrine I have already reported an issue to SS. I found the cave enemies to be too strong for the party I had, so I"ll have to revisit it later!
Just asking: Is there a clue that differs my ice dungeon from yours?
@Craze... There is plenty of capitolization in dialog, but ... not when sentences ... are continued.

You are right, dialog is not my strong point. I should make that guard talk about killing people, things, and how boring guard duty gets... just like real guard duty :-)

There are NPCs with very useful dialog. People that are just there to do a job are there to do a job. The guards are there to chase you :-) when you do something wrong. The pubs are full of interesting things to help you. Anyway, I will juice up the dialog.

@echuy ... I should put a condition on getting the first boat. There is a second boat though :-)

@LightningLord ... your ice cave did not make it in. I sent you comments and coaching about what you can do to improve it :-)

That's a lot of dialog to read through. Does anyone remember Dragon Quest??? Save the princes! Anyone remember Zelda? Here take this!

Instead of: I never feel safe without any guards here in the village.

I always feel so safe with the four heroic guards here in the village.
But the four guards are getting older in years and there are no new recruits...
The mayor says that we need someone to step up and be heroic, but that just is not me...
Maybe you should be, you are young enough to devote your life to combat. Give it a thought lad!
Even though my dungeon didn't make it in, I won't bother doing this again. I'm really upset of how the tiles in VX are so painfully limited. I can do better in any other maker in the series (even my RM2k maps look better than my VX ones)
Thanks for the info. You can also spend more time working with RPG VX. As I pointed out in emails, your paths were straight, empty and wide. Give it more time. In fact I did send you that locker file when I put 10 minutes of extra work into your ice dungeon.

You can have as many blogs as you feel are necessary. It's your tool. Releasing a new version is important enough to merit a new one!

You're right! And while I appreciate your thanks, it is you who quickly took care of fixing things what I just pointed out.
If I never find them, I can't fix them, and not everything I tested. I tested 95% of the game, but its a big game for something that took 5 weeks.

I am pretty sure there might something still pending to be caught. Hopefully, whoever plays it will let you know.

That's why I recommend you get a couple of beta testers for whatever you do in the future. Different people play games differently and hopefully they can catch any bugs before your actual release.

Just know (if you didn't already) that I can't buy any small blue potions any more if I have less than a certain amount of money left (I had 174 golds left when I noticed it, if I'm not wrong.

You can't buy them if you have 99 of them. For some reason, sometimes when you go to buy them and have less than 99, it would appear you can't buy them (the text appears faded) but when you try you can actually do so. At least that's what I remember.
Yeah, the max with the game is 99 and even having 99 is a lot. Are you a millionaire? I have found the grey text error where it looks like you cannot buy something when you can. Like Wooden Arrows, Throwing Daggers and usually throwing weapons.

I'm not concerned about it.

I AM concerned about the falling rock error in the mine southeast of Eraki village. So I fixed that for V2D. It is a bit of a game stopper, but not a save game ruiner, which I'd be more concerned with.
I tried DLing this game and Norton told me it was infected with WS.Reputation.1, which is a password stealing virus.
