Eps 1-6 Released! Downloads added!

I have just finished uploading two versions to RMN. The first (main download) is just the game, while the second one includes the rm2k3 program for those who don't have it.

As you can see, I messed with the colours of the profile a little bit. The sequel has been done as well.

I'll wait for feedback on these 6 eps for right now, but I am progressively adding to the 7th episode as time goes on. Hopefully everyone gets a few laughs out of what's there so far.

If I read correctly, there's 8 total episodes for the first game, right? Are the last couple supposed to be large, or are they going to be handled more or less the same as the others?

I'd say they'll be about the same. I wish I could make the game extra long with the remaining 2 eps, but I just don't see how I could keep the comedic aspect going as well if I did so (without spending a few more months trying to perfect it), and the comedy is the main focus for this particular game. The 8th episode will be shorter than the rest, but will offer a few different endings which will drastically change the world of the sequel, so I'm really keen on playing those out. It's definitely a short game overall, but I'm hoping the compactness will be a benefit to the story and will keep players interested in the series.

Thanks so much LWG! I hope the changes have gone a long way in making it a much more enjoyable experience.

edit: Seems to have fixed itself now. Back to a clean slate, I guess :P

Yeah, I thought it would be best to delete the score, lets just hope everyone doesn't think I gave it zero stars! I really like your enthusiasm and attitude by the way, I’m gonna have to give this another download and play very soon.

I definitely appreciate it. I was pretty set in my ways for the eden legacy games, but with FH I want to continuously be able to improve the mechanics and cater to players' wants and expectations. It's still a far from perfect game, but I'll forever be open to improving it based on user feedback. Kinda helps that the game will be packaged with the sequel, since I can incorporate any fixes or improvements made even after all 8 episodes are released.
