Anyone care to review TCS Chapter One?

So, The Cerebral Symphony has had -at the time of writing- 88 downloads. If it gets to 100 I will release some new content in celebration! I'm already signed up for Release Something 11 so let's see if it happens by then!
In the meantime, would any of those 88 downloaders, or someone new, like to give it a review?
A couple of people have said they would, but it seems they have busy lives (understandably). I may try and write a review or two of my own for others to try to get the ball rolling...
If you haven't played it yet and are a keen reviewer, give it a try here -it's only about an hour long, moves quickly, and not too difficult. Check out Creation's LP if you want a little taster:
Thanks!

Hmmmmm, if you say it's only about an hour then I can play it. Are you looking for an officially submitted review? or a detailed post about aspects like story, graphics, gameplay...?
Hey Link. The latter, please -but if you were able to do one of those you might as well slap some stars on it and post it as a review, right? It's had an LT from Creation and little bits of feedback here and there, but I'd appreciate some more detailed comments ahead of the next release. Thanks in advance if you have time to do this! (Just FYI, lots of the bits of feedback have said that the early encounter with the waves of priests and the ensuing boss is too hard -to do this, use the 'bomb' item on the 3rd wave of priests, and cast reflect and use draw in the boss battle. I'm going to sort this out for the next download.)
Faenon, just so you know, I unzipped the chapter one download and a trojan popped out of it. You may want to scan your computer a couple times. I'm running full system scans now.
Dude! What?? I'll investigate. Thanks for the tip. Can you let me know what you find? Like what kind and whether it was really from my zipfile? Nobody else has reported this and I have up to date antivirus and only ever use it my laptop wifi in the college library...
I did the download again. As much as I'd rather not expose my computer to another virus, this was for the potential security of 88 other people (and also for science!)
Virus only flagged when I unzipped the archive.
Sometimes my computer flags things as viruses that aren't actually viruses (I had to disable my antivirus software to download The Spirit Engine 2, for example,) but it's usually super vague about what it thinks is wrong with them (file is insufficiently verified by the community. i.e. less than five people using norton anti have ever used this file because norton told them it was a virus because less than five people using norton had ever used the file etc.) In this case, it was very specific.
The embedded virus is TrojWare.win32.TrojanDownloader.Small.DE (followed by @ and a whole bunch of numbers that I did not include here in case I was typing out my IP or something stupid,) and it's in /Charas.Updater.exe in the folder I extracted to. Funnily enough, it was my out of date Comodo that picked up on it (I run it for redundancy, but sometimes it finds things that norton won't.)
Hope this helps. I am not super computer savvy, so if you need clarification on a point, just let me know.

Ah, I see what it is. It's the Charas-project sprite-maker from charas-project.net, which I'd left in the game folder by accident. Didn't know it was dodgy. It's a really helpful spritemaker but it is from a foreign website...darn. THANK YOU for the help -I will delete it from my computer and clean it up, then reupload the download without Charas.Updater.exe in it. Thank you kumada.
I'm going to have to reupload on Thursday at the earliest -the soonest I can get to the library (am typing this on my phone). Will PM you.
I'm not sure what's going on here, but there's two things I wanted to keep you appraised of.
First, when I start from the start menu, it takes me to this mario-esque world map where I can walk over everything, but nothing's interactable. I have no idea what the deal is here, and I would love to check out samurai-town with my surprisingly beefy character, but no luck. I gave up after a few minutes.
Secondly, all your personal save files are available from the load screen. I'll try playing around in one of them, but I think I'll probably miss the intro to the plot.

Oops.
Don't play it! What a moron I am -I reuploaded the wrong file. Have to wait till tomorrow to do so again in the library. NOBODY DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!!

No worries. For what it's worth, I loaded the first save file and played up 'til it ended. Strong writing, clever system, interesting characters, and an engaging plot. I can't wait for the real demo to come back up.
So a few days ago my sister's PC died. I have an old win2k machine that I can still play rm2k3 games on(not much else works on it :/) however it has no access to the internet. I've been keeping a .txt file with all my notes but I'm really not sure how I can get it to you. I can access RMN from my ps3 and my phone. I might be able to use a mem card to transfer the file to one of those systems and uplaod to my locker from there, not sure if that will work. But we'll see.
I have mixed feelings about the game so far; leaning more towards liking it though! I'm at the building with the janitor and the bots you have to avoid. I'll finish and send you the text file, rather than submitting a review. Could you send me a quick PM? I can't send a PM but I should be able to reply to one, the site doesn't display properly for me xD

Uh, nevermind. I can't even send PMs on my PS3. I can't edit my posts either. This might be harder than I thought... I'll have to try it on my phone later.
