"Another update already!?" I'm sure you're asking. Well, yes. But it's a big one! It's also for Vagabond's one month anniversary after being released! It's a culmination of all the helpful feedback I've received. If you've skipped some of the previous versions, now is the time to update. It will also likely be the last update for quite a while, so don't worry about that! So what does this new version contain?

~Version 2.0 Improvements~

TP System Overhaul: I can't count the number of times people have complained about the default method of setting a random amount for TP every battle. And quite frankly, I didn't like it either. Fortunately, I found a script by Elise_Chan from the RMW forums which allows more control over TP. Now TP will be set to 10 at the start of every battle. Hopefully that will make everyone who didn't like the TP system at least a little happier.

Skill Cost Madness: Some of the MP and TP costs for skills were just a bit to high to be useful. Some skills even had costs for both without the player knowing(by accident). The costs of many skills have been lowered, and any hidden MP costs have been removed.

No Evasion: Vagabond was meant to have no evasion for attacks, meaning no misses(unless certain skills are used). I applied this for enemies, removing all of their evasion, but forgot to do the same for the player's characters. Now the player's characters' evasion is at 0, like the enemies'. Sorry for those who liked the random strokes of luck!

Map Hi-jinks: The map that was posted on this site and the one in-game wasn't exactly accurate. It was drawn before many of the zones were even completed, after all! The map has now been updated to better portray the actual geography of the areas.

~More Thanks~

I already thanked Scinaya and Indrah in my last blog post for their awesome fanart and review, respectively. There are more people that I need to thank, however.

Bigtime, for being the one tester that actually came through. Most of my testers kind of just...quit, some without even telling me. Bigtime was about the only one who actually helped me at all. So, thank you!

Karsuman, for providing crucial feedback for one of the game's earliest versions. It was his advice that really helped the game improve to what it's become now. It will also help me as I dive into my next game! Thanks Karsu, and I hope you keep playing!

NicoB, for his hilarious Let's Try videos. 'Nuff said. I just hope he continues them soon! The game has improved so much since then, haha.

The players of Vagabond, for well, playing it! Seriously, I was not expecting this game to be as popular as it is. You guys rock, whether you like the game or not!

Welp, that's about it for this update. Thanks for reading this and stuff! Have a great New Year!
