Fairly good. Might be a good idea to use a map saver script so we can see the map with its tints and npcs walking around.

I quite like it. Maybe it would look better if you put a few darker water tiles around the eastern sides.
I must say this is properly made village: in many games village gets to have about 5 buildings, towns like 12, and city around 25 which is far too small to be called like that. Also, I love how well you mapped it and added variant heights and such on the cliffs; plus, all the detail you put here... And you missed top line of a northmost tree so it looks a bit cut.

I find that problem, so it'll be better to add a more deep water region. Now here's your turn, Photoshop!

This is one of the coolest little towns I've seen in a long time, specially taking into account the natre of the tiles; It's cute, it's creative, it's interesting... Now, besides fixing the deep of the water, I'd probably experiment changing a bit the colors of the roofs for extra contrast, but they also look good as they are. =)
