Lunatic Maul? You mean Ghastly Rend? True, but that requires sleep to actually stick. With +4 energy generation, it can only be cast twice per turn, and it was failing more often than not for me against the angels -- and when it did work, it wore off almost immediately. I found it just proved to be a waste of sanity.
Not many fights have that plurality of enemies. My strat was to use insanity on the far right one, and beat down on the left one. Occasionally I'd sleep the middle one. Insanity is a really great status in that fight.
Pretty much every difficult involved spamming the hell out of sleep, for me. And sometimes (in multi-target fights) confusion.

It's worth noting I beat those three witches and Angelis trio way before I was supposed to because of those.

It's not that sleep is wearing off quickly, It's that the enemies work like -you- in the sense that they can dispell sleep and insanity with buffs/heal spells. >> Either way, Sleep might take 2 energy, but Ghastly rend takes 1...and as long as you don't make the girl who has ghastly rend cast sleep, she'll have an ample amount of energy ready to dump it on the poor sleeping victim. That, in tandem with power and crit boost winds up with a -very- dead enemy. >>
By the way, Craze, for us rabid 100% completionists, are you willing to tell us which encounters do or do not have alt text so we can more effectively plan our strategies?

Edit:
I wonder if this'll get a TV Tropes page.

It will indeed, Past Me! It's pretty rough and I've probably forgot some things, but that's the nice thing about wikis.
I'm speaking from memory, so I might have this wrong. There was a heart boss that would revive the two side minions. Francisco will tell you to just leave the heart alone and wallop on the side minions. I tried doing this, but noticed it was much more effective to just focus down the heart and status the minions. Further, if you wiped out both minions, the heart only revived one at a time.

Perhaps you could increase the defenses on the heart so we have to rely more on it killing itself? Would it be possible to make it use two actions to revive both minions if they're both dead?

SqueakyReaper, you have to remember the non-linear nature of the game. If you don't have high-damage spells yet, it's better to let the heart damage itself. Once you get really good abilities, a lot of enemies will fall even if you don't follow the ideal strategy. Re: more actions, it's a possibility but iirc I was dodging some bugs with revival. That fight is one of the more unstable ones so I tried to keep it internally safe.

<3 argh, you so fine.

Alt. text fights:
Infernal Machine, Stark & Lannis, Angelis Trio, Pure Heart, Agent of Chaos. All fights have randomized text pulled from a bank of lines.
Fair enough. The only two enemies (not counting running into the final boss too early) that I wasn't able to defeat on contact were Dante and the guy with the Shaco clones. Came back when I was able to nuke them clean. I guess a different path would have made taking out the minions every round impractical.

Augh, you weren't kidding when you said those fights gave the best stuff. No Pyroclasm, Shooting Star, or Perfect Hit?! D: At least I have Cryostasis. Or perhaps I can cheat and just make a bazillion saves, each where I only spare one. I'd have to fight her five times if I did that, though... o_o
Must be an awesome Game; Can't download it due to the Download Limit being Reached.^^ Can you host it on an External Server or Something? lol (I highly recommend Dropbox or Mediafire)

I can download it just fine. Try again in an hour; RMN has some download limits in place to help fight off bots.
Yeah, But it keeps giving me that Error.^^ lol
And why would a bot try to download a game?

It's more to keep people from wasting bandwidth/inflate their game's download count by clicking the download button over and over.

That kinda makes sense, Well RMN could eliminate the Bot problem by requiring people to enter a "Captcha" to download the games, that is the best Anti-Bot Verification.^^ lol
By the way, I compiled a walkthrough of sorts recently. It lists every room (except for Etalon) and the enemies + spirits contained within. It's not quite complete (I'm not even going to attempt the final boss, for instance) and the formatting is a mess because I just typed everything in Word (I can't modify images to save my life, you see, even though I know a map-style image with labels would be much cleaner). I was just wondering how I might upload it? And if anyone is competent in imaging, converting it into some kind of map image would probably make it much more accessible.

You could submit the doc as Media, perhaps? Upload the file itself to your RMN locker or Google Drive, and then submit Media for this game with a link and explanation of what it is.
Done. Hope it benefits people.
"RPGVXAce is required to play this game" sad because I have no clue where to get it? HELP!

It requires the RTP, not Ace itself. Get it from the link at the top of this page.

meisam your not using semicolon properly, and that's a laughing matter.

man that was quite a good game, i enjoyed every second of it, the good thing is, if you don't know what you are doing you are doomed, but if you fight strategically you will win pretty easily ,
for example i killed the last boss in 6 turn, but i died in my previous attempt. knowledge is power :)
mapping was pretty good too, it create an atmosphere witch make everything believable.
but i hate your page, i don't see what i am typing , i must highlight every word to see it :S.
