Okay, it's not quite as useless as Marisa's Big Bang (could this be the worst skill in the entire game!)

Maybe the worst skill, yes. But the worst attack of all is probably Cirno's spellcard Crystal Bombs. Very fun to use but way too random to be reliable.

Before I go though, is there any chance you could tell me where the completion image comes from and who the girl in the baggy pants is?

I don't know where it comes from but I managed to find it again.

It's in 4842x3507, that should make for a good poster. =)

If you're talking about the girl next to Yuyuko, it's Mokou.
Wow! Thanks for that, it's appreciated. It's going to set me back over £50 (I decided to go for an A0 vinyl foamback poster), but it should look great when it's done. (*_*)

Yeah, and it's funny you should mention Crystal Bombs since I only noticed recently that they actually damage Cirno as well as you when she uses them. In fact, if you sat around long enough, she would eventually commit suicide using this attack.

Oddly, this doesn't apply when you control her and as far as I can tell, no other character has this flaw. I suppose you could just chalk it up to Cirno being none too bright, eh! (^_^;)
very very nice review about this game by StarPrincessHLC

Hey there, it's me again!

I have completed this game on Normal long ago, and it feels SOOO good and I'm now playing on Lunatic (reached Nowhere Dimension already)! Though there is a certain unbalance in some of the levels, which are surprisingly, the first ones. Seriously. If you start a Lunatic/Hard game, you will struggle in the first/second level alot more than others.

Anyway, wish me luck! ^o^
Yeah, the first level is too hard for the simple fact that you can't switch between characters.

Good luck. Though if you can reach Nowhere Dimension, you probably don't need it.
Your skill should be enough. =)
This is the BEST RPG Maker game I have ever seen. Good job, I started a series that I really want to end on YouTube. Here's the first stage of Forest of Magic.

Thank you.
Good luck with your videos, it's a long game!

Thank you.
Good luck with your videos, it's a long game!

I know, also a difficult one... I have two saves, both in Normal, that the first is for videos, and the second is me discovering the map and story. I don't know how you made the game, but it really looks amazing. I definetely want to end this game...

I used my gamepad for better gameplay and experience. :D Can I put the link of the whole series?

EDIT: I love the soundtrack!!!

Can I put the link of the whole series?

Of course. You can also use Submit Media.
Thanks for great game. And if anyone want "just for fun" play for other characters - you can use this mod (+8 characters for play)

in the description of the video there are links to a modified game
Hello. I submitted the videos but failed, so here it's part 2.

You don't need to own VX to get the RTP, if you go to the official site there should be a separate link to download the RTP.

And yes, this game does have some RTP in the tilesets, I believe.
You don't need VX RTP.
Download, extract, launch exe. As simple as that.
Hey! First off, I just want to congratulate you and thank you for making such an amazing game. The combat is smooth, the story is interesting, the weapon/skill progression is fun to try and max out, and the game provides hours of gameplay. I myself am playing through the postgame to 100%, and I'm having fun every step of the way. Do you have any plans on making a sequel? Because I would gladly support you every step of the way!
Thank you TeemotheGent.
Unfortunately, I can't afford to make a sequel for Wandering Souls.
I'll keep making games though.
This game is so lovely! I mean, I've been a fan of Touhou for a while, but I was quite worried that, when trying a game like this in which the fighting style is completely different, I'd find that I didn't like it quite as much as the actual games. I can honestly say I might like it better. I'm giving levels reruns so I can achieve all the souls, and I'm enjoying the fact that I look at something and go, "I bet I can get up there by using X, or by dashing from Y." and instead of it just being there as another platform an enemy had been on, I get rewarded with something. It truly brings out the adventurer in me. And then there's the story line, which I can say sounds a lot like an actual story from an actual game. Finally, the thing I find funny is that sometimes I'll see a sprite an RPGmaker original, and instead of going, "oh, they reused that." like I will with other games that consist of mostly non Rpgmaker graphics, I go, "Oh hey! I remember that tile! what clever use of it!"
Overall, wonderful game. I look forward to playing more of it.
Thanks Fruebis.
Enjoy the rest of the game!
Hi! I've been playing Wandering Souls for a ridiculous period of time. This game is absolutely gorgeous, and is easy enough that even a poor noob like me can possibly beat it on Lunatic. Told my wife I was going to play and 100% this and she's been listening to me bitch for like 3 weeks since I keep having to take breaks because bloody hell.

I'm really enjoying Lunatic despite getting slammed in certain levels repeatedly. My characters aren't maxed yet, Sakuya's around level 70 along with Sanae, Reimu is however maxed. I thought it'd be smart to go right after Utsuho in chaos mode because she's ridiculously overpowered as a playable character. Bad idea. Absolutely licked my anus with razorblades, glass, lemon juice, and salt. Several times. Probably about 45 times to date. Yeah, I'm nuts.

I've learned how to dodge her most annoying spellcard where the fireballs slide down to the ledge and stop, and then drop down, and then the next wave come in, but my reflexes are a bit slow on a keyboard and she almost never fails to kill me with that damn spellcard.

Anyway I've just got a few questions.

Defence reduces all incoming damage, correct?
I would assume Utsuho's spells are earth and fire, or is she purely fire, being a damn nuclear bird?
Does anybody remember at what point Rinnosuke's shop begins stocking atk+def ups? I'm abouy 61% of the way through Lunatic and he's still out of stock after I've bought everything in the shop. I could really use those power ups.

Um, anyway, thank you very much for a great game, and please keep me posted on any other projects you have. Also feel it worthy to note this is the best Touhou game I've had the honor of playing, even if it's just a fangame.
Hi MistressBunnyStorm and thank you!

Yes, defence works on all attacks.
Unfortunately for you, Utsuho's attacks/spells are non-elementals so you can't rely on elemental defensive stats.
Rinnosuke will sell atk/def bonus when you'll have 140 souls, and yes, it would definitely help you. You should focus on stages without bosses until you get enough souls, it'll make things easier.

Good luck!
