But this lioness is.
This is going on indefinite hiatus now. I realise with my current mindset, I won't be able do anything RM-related ( it's a rather personal matter which I'd rather not divulge in ) but after 7 years of working with the engine, I've decided to shelve my RM-related skills and move on to other things and live a bit. Summer's coming after all, and I don't fancy being holed up in my room with only my laptop for company.
Frankly, I just want to get away from RMN itelf. Maybe the behavior as of late has just turned me off completely from doing anything related to RPGMaker. It reminds me again of the site circa 2010. I no longer feel attached to either of the communities, whether it's here or over at RMW. It's funny, its nearing my year-end holiday break and the last thing I want to do is gam-mak. I don't know, maybe it's
just me, but somehow I always feel overwhelemed by idiocy everytime I open up the latest statuses or posts tabs ( and seeing other stuff that REALLY grinds my gears, which I won't mention, but it's best I got away from it all, lest I let loose with some scathing comment and ruin my reputation ).
Maybe between my weekend breaks I'll be working on my projects, but even from the very beginning, they were games I made for myself, to be played by myself, and just an excuse to release any pent up creative energy ( which I channel into the Sims3 in any case; I've been a fan of the series since 2000 ). I'll still be spriting and writing though.
Consider this post a bit of a farewell blog. I'm sorry, but I just can't interact with RMN in its current state. ><

Hey, maybe if we use reverse psychology maybe Luchino might come back?
“I don’t miss Luchino at all. Nope. Don’t miss her in the slightest.”
(Eh? Eh???)

... No.
author=DyhaltoErm... if you refer to me... No, I'm not. I'm a lazy lazer who fails at gamez...
^ Is that Luchino in disguise?

- SOUNDS LIKE LUCHINO, ALRIGHT! :D
Dyhalto - get the chair. We’ll tickle Fruebis with these crow feathers that I found on the ground until she tells us everything. :)
Booo  There's no reason to hide >:o Just localize a little if the outside world is no fun.
But if you just need some Away time in the mountains to focus on yourtraining gam mak, that's okay too.

Being someone who's never really been a part of this site, and only recently started being more active after my googling of "yuri rpg" lead me to Luxaren Allure and a few other projects, I can't really comment on what's going on here with the community.
But it sucks that you no longer feel a connection to the community or site. Hope you have a good Summer, and whatever you plan to do in the future, I wish you the best!

I'll come back when Tristian is Completed.
You technically just came back by posting this now. That’s not how this whole hibernation thing is supposed to work, damn it.
Don't know how I missed this earlier, but wow. This is truly sad news. ;____;
I've shared your sentiments toward RMN on whole many times over. The community is missing that tiny bit of spark that intrigued me for so many years - that's the natural ebb and flow for many developers. My only advice would be to avoid it for a while, work on Tristian quietly, and on your own timeline.
But yeah, I sincerely hope that you see it through! I'm rooting for this game. XD

Sad to hear but you will one day return to the beckoning whisper that is RMN...
Hey there Luchino, I don't usually check your blogs, but seeing this makes me feel sad :( I hope it's just a case of burnout. I think you need a break from here at least. Take a break/sabbatical for as long as you can, then when you're ready to return, please do :)
Drive away all the negativity and channel in all the positivity. That being said, I hope that you will return someday on a positive note :)
