A game about a kid and the monster under his bed.

"Bedtime is supposed to be a happy event for a tired child; for this child it was terrifying. While some children might complain about being put to bed before they have finished watching a film or playing their favourite video game, when he was a child, night time was something to truly fear."

The game, like many of my horror games, tries to scare you without too many of the typical "screamers", instead relying on atmosphere and suspense.

Based on a short story by Michael Whitehouse

Thanks, posting it once would probably have sufficed, though ^^
The demo was great, can't wait for the full game! Keep up the great work!
Waiting in excitement ! The demo was very fun to play :)
So there aren't any jump scares? I don't get what you mean by build up.
There are some jump-scares. It's just that those jump scares aren't there without any sort buildup of atmosphere between them. Or in other words, there aren't a bunch of random jump-scares that are there to surprise you instad of scare you, like a lot of jump scares in horror these days. I try to keep them as a sort of tension-releaver instead of keeping the player worried about having to remove their headphones because there are a thousand loud noises behind every door.

Ahh I think I get you though that intrigues and worries me.
Just finished the full version of the game. WOW ! what an amazing horrifying piece of art. My heart felt like it stopped on several occasions.I must admit I loved how the story got told. Amazing story. This game is a horror gem ! 8D

SnowOwl has done an amazing job with this and I would recommend
this game to everyone, even people who are not fond of horror. :)

Effects/sounds is profesionally mastered!

Rating 4.5/5 from me ! =)

The story was amazing and it was so well told in an atmospheric and creepy way. After completing it you really feel it left a mark on you. AMAZING !
I feel like the background for this page was inspired by The Yellow Wallpaper, if anyone knows of that story. Pardon me for not talking about the game itself.

You're magical to me.

I really enjoyed this game. Visually stunning, and carries a powerful atmosphere of dread from beginning to end. Exploring each nightmare level was a treat, as you never know what you're going to encounter next.

my heart jumped with joy (and then decided to jump out of fright later on o_e) when I saw this finally complete!and I must say, this game really did have me feeling highly uncomfortable (I had to turn on the lights/mute the ghostly music in the last chapter, can you believe that?)though Im not fan of RPG maker XV as I prefer RPG maker 2003 when it comes to indie horror games,I cant help but see yours quite exceptional(even one of a kind):every level was more unsettling/unique than the last,I'll give you that.
what upset me a bit is that I found it to be leaning more to a visual novel setting with less action needed, but hey thats just me,maybe that WAS the whole point of the game;telling a nightmarish tale after all.
Im looking forward for more!specifically "Siris's inferno".I wonder if we will ever see it finished?
Yeah I tend to lean towards story-heavy games. Maybe I will make a RPG next, where nobody will complain about the game being story-heavy, since a large chunk of players actually play RPGs for the story. Problem is I have no idea how to balance combat, or even do combat.

Continuing Siris's Inferno doesn't sound like a bad idea, although I completely forgot what I wanted to do with that game at this point, since it has been so long since I touched it. Maybe I'll add some combat to that game and keep going. Who knows?
This game looks great but I hate horror games because I'm scared to be freaked out.
Congratulations on completing your game!! Can't wait to try it out! ... in a brightly lit and sunny area of course.

Thank you. Try it at night in a empty house!
Great game, i couldn't wait any longer for the full but i saw a little bug. I walked around when i first started the game in the mother's room and accidentally when i wanted to get out, i pressed on the wall. I waited and then a monologue scene came and it skipped to chapter 3. XD I was so confused. But anyway, this game is great, for people with nyctophobia it sure was something XD
Best horror game I have ever played or probably ever will play!
