GAMEPLAY



FEATURES

ACTIVE CHARACTER SHIFT



Players progress through the game by controlling three different groups, allowing them to view other perspectives concurrently happening elsewhere. This grants players the ability to make decisions with full awareness of various situations.

ELEMANTRA



There are 360 different Elmspheres that grant their users various mantras or abilities. These can be used in battle or reproduce specific mantras that only characters proficient in that type of mantra can conjure or use to interact with objects or people outside of battle.

STAT-BUILD



You can build unique stats, such as Leadership, Deduction, Social, Trust, etc. These stats affect players' performance in missions, provide hints, and offer other benefits. Your stats are not enhanced through repetitive training but are influenced by your actions throughout the gameplay.

TIME MANAGEMENT



Sleeping at night restores your AP, and having three meals a day keeps your AP recharge rate optimal. The guild offers various activities such as ranked duels, part-time jobs, and side-missions. Since most activities take time, it's important to manage your actions carefully.

EARLY ACCESS Announcement | April 2024

Hey there! Long time, no see, right?

Just wanted to drop in and let you know that we're wrapping up
the Closed Beta phase, and I'm pumped to say that the Early Access
version is on its way.

Coming at you in just a few weeks, this version will pack in
the first 5 chapters, promising a solid 15-20 hours of gameplay.
You'll have access to half of the side missions to keep things
interesting.

And to sweeten the deal, here are some fresh screenshots straight
from the ongoing development:

For the writing/dialogue, I've made a ton of changes and grammar checks
to ensure the game dialogue flows better. I trimmed down unnecessary and
convoluted conversations and aimed for consistency in how characters talk
and react based on their personalities.

It's not perfect yet, but I gave it my all and got a lot of help
from friends.

For battles, I've brought back and redesigned the TURN ORDER bar.
Plus, I've added some icons to make certain descriptions stand out.
Oh, and I've doubled the speed of the ATB bar!

For maps, I've beefed up the interactable objects, added more variety.
Now, NPCs will give different responses based on your character's Social stats.
Also, I've made lootable items like flowers, stones, and ores auto-regenerate,
so you can keep finding them after a few days.

There's more! I'm knee-deep in development on Chapters 6-10. Three new
playable characters are joining the crew: Velia, Zero, and Claus. That's right,
we'll have the full lineup for both the Red Team and the Blue Team.

? Any news?

For LIVENEL? Yes, v1.95 will be out tonight, it's the finalized
tech demo. There's no more demo version after v1.95, or maybe v1.99.
Since the Full Version will be v2.00. :)

But if you're asking about the Full Release, I finished 3 of 9
chapters so far. An early access would be available in the next
2 or 3 months.

A new dev blog in regard of this matter will come along with v1.95.
So, stay tuned! :)

some in-game bugs I've found.

-in the first dungeon, if you take the STR card and then go straight to VR training area, you'll get stuck after destroying the crystal, you can't go back to normal maps whatsoever.

-if you're using raid armor and save the game in hostile area, and load the game later, the after image effect vanishes.

Do you mean power training in virtual trainer?
Thanks for reporting this, I'll check it out ASAP.

Edit : It's fixed! It turns out that this bug came
from the healing orbs in VT.
some in-game bugs I've found.

Another question, I'm on my way to kill Wwyrm Garglos but I can't find a door or an entrance in the waterfall area.


It's located in Dark Marina, near the Underwater Pass.
Suffice to say, you can visit that place while doing
Sky Whirlpool Mission.

There are two ways to reach that area. First, you can
use the ladder in the Ancient Tomb (West area),
and the other one is in the Cloud Haven Waterfall.

When you reach the waterfall, jump down to the lower level
and then go straight to the right, turning the GPS ON
will save your time. It'll inform the next location on map,
marked with arrow and map name.

Defeat the Flame Ghost Girl, I forgot her name, in the Ancient Tomb.


DARK ARMOR

Defeat the Dark Astral, in the Dyna Base, in the long hall which can be accessed from the SAFE AREA. You need the access card from the ship entrance.


WATER ARMOR

Defeat the Gargalos in Terra Lake, the area with HUGE CRYSTAL. BUT first, u need to activate the mission called SKY WHIRPOOL.


Haven't find the WIND, EARTH, LIGHT and THUNDER yet.

Poison? If u mean Venom, you can buy that in the guild. if u're going to use it in the cave near the first mission area, then it's not worth it. it seems the dev is not finishing that area yet.

Yes, you can get the armorgears from Enemy Bosses / secret bosses
from various dungeon that give you Summon Elmsphere at the same time.
Beside the Fire,Dark and Water, there's the Ice and Earth too.
As for Wind, Light and Thunder, you can't obtain them yet in the latest
Early Access version. They're located in unfinished dungeons.

I'll be back to work on Livenel after the new version of One Piece
War of Thrones is out. I also have a plan to make non-elemental
armorgears in next update. :)

You'll find the first 18 Elmspheres in Teirra Haven - Trader Points.

Yes, I talked about LMBS plugin, it's pretty amusing
and time-consuming at the same time. Maybe I could make
a simple game with that battle system.

Edit : I fixed that issue on 1.49a release, it's accidental
drag and drop of files. I think that bgm was one of them.

Well, tbh I had used three or four different battle systems while
making the game demo for livenel, and changed them frequently due to
plugins conflict. It has been a long, messing trial and error since
the game was still in its early "concept" stage, back in 2015.

+ Linear Motion Battle System
After I finished the English translation for Avelions 4, this battle
system got me hooked, and it was felt user-friendly too. But then
I realized that it's not as easy as it seems. Eventually, this "Avelions 5"
project went on HIATUS, for about 5 years...? xD

In 2020, when I went back to work on this project and changed the game
title, I had used; CTB with TURN ORDER DISPLAY, MOG Sideview Battle,
Yanfly's Sideview Battle System, SBS with TURN ORDER DISPLAY (maybe you're
playing this one?). And finally, I'm using Yanfly+MOG Sideview Battle
System with ATB. So far it seems to be working fine, no bugs, no plugins
conflicts.
I played the latest techdemo last night. Where's the turn order display or did I miss something?
Everything will get better in time.
