OGG
All the songs in this version of the music pack are in OGG format. They all have loop points built in them, so every song will loop non-stop when played in your game. All the extra repetition in the OGG versions of the songs has been cut off to conserve space, so some of them don't last as long in media players as their MP3 counterparts do.

MP3
All the songs in this version of the music pack are in MP3 format. This version has been tailored to be more like a regular videogame soundtrack release.

I am participating in an indie games contest in my town, so I wonder if I can use the "RNM Music Pack" in my game? And then I quote you as composers of every musical part of the game in the credits screen.
I thank them!
This music package is really wonderful, congratulations to all of you!
That should be alright as long as the actual game won't be sold for profit.

That should do fine Sated! It's not probably necessary to mention RMN Music Pack more than once, but it's still appreciated all the same!
Awesome Music Pack I'm going to put it to good use with my RPG I am making and I will list this site as the resource for the music.
Summoner of Sounds: RMN's biggest Video Game Music series to the date is here!

Just an FYI, but Cornflake is credited as Conrflake in the txt track listing.
Conrflake. Best name.
Thank you very much for creating this music pack and allowing designers like me with no musical talent, and/or are too lazy to learn/do it ourselves to have great music in our games!
author=SuperMegaNick01As the others said, it is your choice and depends on what kind of impression you're trying to give. You might want to check the Restaffs available at various sites ( The official English as well as Rpgmaker.de) and Aaron Krogh's work for other tunes besides these; mix and match to give the feel you like.
Yes awesome! I'll also throw in some other musics for other areas! Thank you!
I would think it would be based on personal preference. My own preference would tend toward "Composed Malevolence" for a standard battle theme (though there's nothing wrong with "Valiance") with a boss theme of "Resonant Hopes Ignited Wills". Not sure about an overworld theme. Maybe "Tranquil Town" or "Hamlet"? It depends on what you want to use for your town theme. I could feasibly see "Peaceful Soul" for a moon-ish area. As for dungeons, how about "Cavern" or "Mellow Darkness"?
No I meant which music is suitable for each situation. Like which is the battle theme, which I can tell is Valiance, but what about the boss themes and what not. I would wish to know what is a good field theme and such from this epic soundtrack. My game is going to be diverse, with there being underwater, caves, a journey to the underworld, and possibly the moon.
If it's one of the RPG Maker engines, you generally put them into the Music/BGM directory. Except Subaru's "Victory Theme", which, I think would go into the Music/ME directory?
Ok I am so using this in my game, but I don't know where to put which music in what places! Can someone send me a note where should I put each music???
