Bloodstained Hands

The weird thing is that Tarasque is the first boss with a special death animation, when you're already 10 hours in.

And I really hope Grey's MP doesn't cap at 999...

Also, the Tower of Lux appears to be unsolvable, two separate waterfalls on the third floor must be off at the same time for me to progress, but no matter what combination of switches is set, there is only one waterfall that's off, and three that are on; each switch doesn't work if there are two on or two off in its range, and switches the waterfalls if one is on and the other off. I think I have even softlocked myself in there.

I've figured it out now, after killing between 300 and 500 enemies.

Is there any way to get past the tower? I entered at level 15, and while looking for the solution I am now level 22. Plus, the crabs are ridiculously evasive (something like 60% of my attacks miss them!)

(sorry for the repeated post, I thought my trackpad was being unresponsive)

In Rubana, how do I steal the authorization letter from the captain? No matter if I talk to the captain during the day or at night, he just asks me whether I want to go back to Amethyne.

How would I actually complete this task?

Update: The tower is not locked at night, and the letter is in there.

Bolt levels up way too fast, if you get him to level 50 you'll only be at something like 42 with everyone else. I'd assume something like 6.5M XP to level 99 for him while most of the others are at least 9M to level 99.

Is this intentional?

Also, in the Mt. Valla Mogtopia, you can buy the Libra tomes for 10k each, and Izlude can indeed learn the spell.

Tritoch is by far the most difficult boss up to now... so many things to keep track of and so many checkpoints, plus the instakill Flare attack (~4500 unblockable damage). Its spells do ~1500 or ~900 with shell on, and without Izlude at level 40 (is that where he learns X-Cure 3?) I can't seem to keep up with its damage.

Update: It's level 38.

Update 2: Syldra is not immune to burn, which means: you can exceed even 65535 damage against her given that she's already weak to fire (no, 65535 isn't a damage cap either). Using Tinder Trigger's ultimate limit break against Syldra with the burn effect applied will take out half her health in one shot. And this is a late-game boss we're talking about.

Also, I wonder why it is that monsters never attack moogles here...

And the ending just really upsets many of us, all the team did was for naught in the end. Is this your way of trolling all of us for wanting a sequel?

Also, can Izlude learn Libra?

Also, "a place that has been locked for centuries". This game seems quite cryptic at times, and it appears like this place has to be within Vollenzo, as the exit from the Rocky Mountains doesn't work (Never mind, it does work).

Additionally, "train of the underworld" sounds like a FF6 reference.

How do I get past the stones gambler? The gambler's room seems to have nothing you can interact with.
