If your game has these words in its title, it's a big red flag

I'm surprised that I've never made a red/yellow flag game title. But, then again, I did work on a game called "Lost Sanctuary" back when I was a noob, and both those words should probably be on the list...

Way to take it like a man, Z!

My Game's identity has been stolen

Lol, as I kept clicking the report button, more and more of the page content was going down. Now the only thing left of it is the game profile itself.

VIVA RMN! Nobody messes with our homies!

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

A lot of games have a little tutorial land... but then again, those were MMOs...

Anyway! I redid the look of my battle system. Now I'm working on a capture/summon system.

EDIT: Just discovered Audacity 1.3... Why didn't I download this version earlier?! I've been forced to make crappy loops far too long!

What we did horribly on our first games.

I did the same thing in my first game. My maps were very spacious. It didn't help that my maps were huge, too.

How do you have more makerscore than me? :o

I made a puzzle for BQ2 and I also have a completed game. Not that I really care, but it's a bit odd. :P

BQ2 was never reviewed

I also made a review, a script, and a tutorial.

But right now, there doesn’t seem to be anything we can direct them to that would help them learn how to deal with constructive criticism or at least be made aware of it, before submitting their game to rpgmaker.net.

Why should we make something about a matter that they should already know? IT'S A FACT that if you make something and submit it publicly, there will be people who comment on it, and not everyone is going to be nice. It's not like it's this is only an RMN issue.

Someone go ahead and make the article. Teach them how to cook while you're at it.

Misaos Winners Revealed (annual awards)

It's actually miso soup (but it's close).

I also agree that making a good game isn't enough to get votes. Best thing to do is post a lot of game updates to keep your game in the front page of the Games Section, (but not a lot to be annoying...)

(muahahahahaahahahahaha!)

*Ruining the grade curve since 1992

I was a complete and total beginner with no games. And when Befuddle Quest 4 was released, I had more makerscore than someone who had a game and was probably far along with it.

Makerscore means SQUAT when it comes to experience.

System VX - Tapping Hooves Review

You actually CAN destroy the bombs by doing the 'critical' hit. I'm also pretty sure tutorial tells you that.

The tutorial doesn't say anything of the like. There were a lot of things that the tutorial didn't explain (like the little furry item snatcher. That wasn't in the tutorial).

I didn't make this game, but trust me if I say that the software they used has its limitations. Making sounds fitting to the arrows honestly couldn't be any better. Not without any complex modifications, or doing it manually.

Actually, I can imagine doing this easily with events, so I doubt it's RMVX's fault.

Another fact is that these 'grammar problems' are there intentionally. This game has it's childish humour and I love it! Why don't you?

I would understand if one of the characters had grammar problems (like Cixi. I don't think her having grammar problems would be weird), but all of them do. Vikka and Quatros seem to be intelligent, but the grammar issue kinda damages that, so I didn't think it was done purposefully. In fact, it would have been better if they didn't.

Its game based on reflex sadly not based on music.

Yes, very sad. I started the game thinking it would be a rhythm game with nice music, but ended up with my eyes sore from staring so hard...

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!

That sounds like an awesome idea. I suggest you make one map extremely creepy, making the player wish he hadn't gone in. XD
