im vegetarian and even i try to avoid soy as much as possible. there is a lot of estrogen in it that can screw up your hormones.
a lot of recent studies have suggested too much is really not a good thing.
if you don't like dairy, there is other ways to make milk. i make 'nutmilk' (yes that sounds incredibly dirty), but soaking almonds or seaseme seeds in water overnight, blending then strainging = better than milk stuff :)

You have better luck than me. I'm all certified and shit but I don't have the time to get a job during the semester. : (
'school'? i went to university... actually i had a "real" job for a while, but the company closed down this month so i went back to the part time bartending/serving job i've always had whenever i need a quick buck.
if you mean bartending school- no, i didn't do that... i hear its fun and useful though :) (useful for bartender or partyanimal... lol)

I will be creating a map using Seiken_Densetsu_3_Snowtown chipset. Maybe I will edit glasses of eggnog into the charsets. Then I will insert myself into a scene where people are exchanging presents and having fun. I will watch it all day, and smile.
just cancelled my christmas plans, took back all the presents i bought and i will be doing this instead.

anyone else use this to make games? i'm just getting used to it right now, but i'm planning to make an rpg (not a platformer) with it...
i started with 2k and 2k3 for years... used xp a bit and dabbled in both vx and game maker. for the last while i've been using flash, but the scripting got overly complex for a simple game i was making and ended up abandonning it :(
i have high hopes for fusion....

What makes a good dialogue?
what are people's thoughts on a more... setting-accurate dialogue? for example, using more formal dialogue or words like "ye" for a medieval setting instead of "hey, what's up?" lol

i thought xp was pretty easy to pick up after using 2k and 2k3. vx was quite a bit different, but seemingly not too hard to learn.
if you're wanting to make something in xp, i'd say go for it. it's not a huge step away from 2k3, especially if you're not planning on using scripts (though the option would still be there if you decide to upgrade!).
