AESTHETICGAMER'S PROFILE

I'm Dusk Golem, aka AestheticGamer. You can also just call me Ryan. I work on small RPG Maker horror games for contests and pleasure, that usually tell cryptic surreal stories and were made relatively quickly. Most of my games either feature mostly original or completely original graphics, art, and music. However, I also work on much bigger and developed games as well. My first big developed RPG Maker game I'm working on slowly over time is Complete Isolation. In the meantime, I work and release smaller things here and there, they're good practice and learning experiences.

I really enjoyed the game, and i must say you are really damn good at voice acting, your voice reminds me of Wally Wingert.
Keep up the good work!
I'm very happy with the response to the voice acting, certainly. I decided to be riskier with voicing in the next game, it's good practice and experience, here's hoping it comes out well with some good direction.

-Spoiler-Who was The Host/Green Guy in the end? and what is the protagonist? the girl's plushie or something?
Beautiful game.
The Host will be explored a bit more in the near future, as will the game's protagonist. Both of them will play some role in my next game, The Craved Nerve, so I don't want to say too much, but enjoying people's theories.
Close Your Eyes: Redux
Heads-up, started work on the final game in this 'series' I've been doing unofficially between Blank Slate, Girl's Graveyard, & Close Your Eyes. Should be a loose sequel of all three of those games in the background, but also be a stand-alone story, and longer and more effort than the three of them. Should be done in 2-5 months from now, going by the name The Craved Nerve.

Hey! I have done a lets play of your (absolutely brilliant) game.
I kinda suck at lets playing 'cause it's one of my first playthrough things but if you want you could check it out here.
I've uploaded two ofthreefour parts and put them in a playlist.
(Four because I saw a comment saying there was a way out of the maze thing after you said 'leave' to the girl, and I just got hella lost. And dead.)
I adore your game and am looking forward to seeing what else you make.
I'm happy you enjoyed, and yai, yes there is a second ending. I also appreciate the recording, being able to watch others play is invaluable feedback for me as it allows me to watch how people respond to thing, like or dislike things, understand or don't understand what parts, all for future projects to hopefully continue to be better.
What I'm working on right now I hope people enjoy, I'm trying to spin it as the final chapter to my unofficial loose 'saga' of games, Blank Slate, Girl's Graveyard, and Close Your Eyes, a more refined title that tells an individual story but also wraps up some loose ends from all three of those games. That won't be around for 2-4 months, though.

author=AislingCaitI feel like my heart is about to go out of my chest so, before that happens, could you tell me what to do after telling the girl that I want to leave?Forget it, I just found the door.
PD:This game is totally incredible, good job.
Oh my, happy you're enjoying/enjoyed it.

yo, loving the game so far! I'm a bit stuck. I'm in the house and I just got the trapezoid key (I'm pretty sure) and I have no idea where to go. To give you more of an idea as to where I am, a door on the 1st floor is locked (one that was previously open) and when I was looking upstairs the screen quickly showed a picture of someone covered in blood
You're looking for 'The Runner', as I call him... Spoilers to that below;
*SOLUTION SPOILERS*
There's a guy who runs around the house you need to find 3 times. He's in the following locations (you have to go to them in order):
-In the hallway that leads to the blue bathroom and the three bedrooms on the second floor, check the farthest bedroom to the left.
-On the first floor right-win, in the living room (the room before the music room with the piano)
-The first floor left-wing bathroom.

OMG puzzle 1 is imposible
is RED? BLuE? YELLOW and GREEN?
or GREEN AND YELLOW? and repeat all 2time?
CAN HELP me?
There are 8 stops the train makes, the stations from West to East (left to right) are Green, Yellow, Red, then Blue. The station starts and ends at Red, so Red is the first and last button. The rest follows the notes notice.
*PUZZLE SOLUTION SPOILERS*
The note says the station starts at Red, then goes east to Blue. It then goes all the way West, making a stop at each station along the way. That makes it Red, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green so far. It then goes one East, to Yellow, then back West, to green, then comes to a rest for the night. That makes the combination Red, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Yellow, Green, Red.

Well some of the screen shots look quite different from the original I played and reviewed, though I see some are the same. So has the story changed significantly, or is it mostly the aesthetics?
The first fourth of the game is the same with a few fixes (making stairs/train tracks shorter, for one), up until the part in the original where you met the spider. The spider isn't in this version of the game, and then the next 3/4 of the game is completely new stuff. The original ending is there, but there's a new ending as well, both endings are pretty easy to get. Game is about three times as long now, despite shortening a few sections from the original. Story also goes in a different direction.
