GRANDIA 2 -- WHAT'S WITH THE HATE?
I was thinking about getting it (surprisingly, I'm not much into JRPG's), but I saw some people say that it doesn't have any reply value. If I may ask, as people who've played that game before, what would say about that?

A lot of people underestimate the work others do. I've seen it for many different things than just game developing.
Construction work, trash cleaning, and lawn care seem to be big ones. A lot of people look down on other people working because they think that their job is so menial or low-classed compared to what they're blessed with. Perhaps.... But if it's so easy that you could train a chimp to do it, why not just do it yourself?
Most of those people are really just looking for self-glory, whether they realize it or not. So.... Stepping on other people, regardless of feelings, is just one way of doing it.
It's just sad.
Unfortunately, though, there's nothing much that we can do about it. People will be people, and some people are just like that.
People that continue to work on projects that probably are a lost cause.

I agree with this. I think that nothing is ever a lost cause unless a developer truly loses interest in it, or gives up due to lack of confidence. There is nothing that cannot be fixed as long as we want to fix it.

Trying to rename the protagonist of my graphic novel. I love this name I found: Roque.
However, the pronunciation has been a point of contention with my test group so far.
Anyone have thoughts on this name? Do you like it, or hate it?
I think it sounds neat and unique.
It does make one think of the word 'rogue' because of the similar spelling, not to mention something medieval. But, names can be used for anything.
What matters most though, is do you think it fits your character, as in the way they look or the way they act?
