If it's free, and single player, I'll give it a try. If it's free and MMO style, fuck it.
It's a free, single-player shooter-platformer. It's one of my favorite games, actually.

all the names sound like names i've heard over and over again.
Yeah, Slade was a name I had chosen a long time ago; after playing other people's RPG's, I realized how overused it was. However, I'm sticking with it (I've written way too many dialogues to go back and change people's names now).
games take effort buddy
also use the \n thing next time.

I just sat down and played this because ... "Max McGee" (since I have a good deal of respect for his work) gave it good comments.
Well, I must say I was very impressed! Infact, this is almost enough to get me to use RMXP. This game is proof that games can be art. It created one of the greatest atmospheres I have ever encounted in an RM game. And yeah, this is definitely creepier than The Longing Ribbon (I wouldn't say it beats Backstage, though) even though I don't feel it especially belongs in the "horror" genre. (Maybe the surreal art game genre, idk.) I especially love the aspect of the phone, and how you can miss the calls if you don't get there in time.
The plot is simple, yet spooky and strange enough to leave you wondering after it's done. The adventure-game style works great with the game. (There are a few odd glitches, but nothing major.)
It also gave me massive inspiration to work on something I started a while ago (which drew inspirtion from TLR and Backstage in the first place.) It's similar in some ways (at least the feel of the game) although mine is a lot more horror-based. (This was something I released at the first "release something.") I would go work on it write now if I didn't have to write several essays for school!
Anyways, I highly recommend this to anyone. It's probably the only RMXP game I have ever truly enjoyed. It's a great way to motivate yourself into making something!

Look to everyone and Azn Chipmunk I never said that lots of posts contribute to that and you think I'm just counting down the top ten posters, but I'm not you see. But usually not all the time they are the regulars, and LWG really does thunderdraco and others, no offense to anyone of them, you think there on more than these guys I named or listed?
My point is that you can't really rank how "regular" someone is.

The real idea is to encourage activity within the site and actual work on games.
Obviously, but you have to set guidelines and rules for an event such as this otherwise nothing productive will happen.

What would a theme have to do with anything?
Basically if there is a theme, then you wouldn't be able to submit something you created earlier, since chances are you won't have the themes. Thus, when picking themes you don't pick generic ones!

Having more posts doesn't make you "more" of a regular.
Uh...the correlation between number of posts and being a regular is uh...pretty strong.
That's not necessarily true. Someone could have like 2000 posts, but then leave. They'd still have those posts but would no longer be a regular.
What I meant is, if two people are around just as often as each other, but one has a higher post count, it doesn't really make that one "more" of a regular, does it?
Well, it really depends on how you define "regular." I would just say it someone who visits and posts regular (not necesarily posting an incredibly large amount.)
