Be sure to take it easy on the overlays and tints! It's very difficult to make extreme overlays look good, and if you use too many your maps could end up looking like this
Valkyrie Stories is a good example of using overlays well in VX, if you want to check it out ^^
I appreciate the advice. I'll be sure to check out some examples from Valkyrie Stories. That game looks amazing.

Hm? If you're referring to the blood, it's meant to look like blood is flowing from the cave.

This game actually sounds awesome! I've subbed, and as soon as I get home, I would love to DL this and try it... Well done with the mapping (great usage of the RTP), the story sounds fantastic, can't wait to hear your music selection used. Might end up writting a Review for the demo - nothing that would be really concrete, just something to kind of help out with your progress. ^^
