I am so terribly sorry for not posting anything in a while; I was away all weekend with very limited internet access and I only now have the chance to post something.
I nod towards Lit and then make a gesture along the lines of "Don't worry" towards Chloé.
@All: "Do not worry, I will first examine the next room from within the doorframe before heading out and I will try to remain hidden in the shadows as best as possible."
I turn towards the door to attempt to open it and peer into the room behind it.

I hesitate for a bit. I hardly ever execute stealth missions with others and if I do, it's usually with others who are experienced in the art of stealth. Besides, the odds of me not being detected as soon as I open the door are not very high, so having other people with me could only be detrimental to the operation.
I shake my head and reply @Chloé: "I don't think that's such a good idea. I'm experienced in these sorts of things and even I doubt I'll be able to set one foot outside of that door before being detected. If I take more people with me it'll only get worse. Don't worry, if I am seen immediately, I can always back back into this room and we can fend off any possible threat together."

After examining the door and finding nothing of particular interest, I turn around to speak to all the other prisoners.
@all: "So, what are we going to do? I could try to sneak out there and see if I can scout around undetected. If I get into trouble, I'll give a signal. Also, if I'm not back soon, you could try to come after me. What do you say?"

Voices near the door... That's to be expected, but by no means preferable. I turn around and with a lowered voice I say:
@Evryone: "I can hear voices coming from outside. We have to make sure we're fully prepared and ready for whatever we may find out there when we open this door."
I turn back around and examine the door itself more closely, but don't try to open it yet until everybody is ready.

I stop to think for a moment about what happened before I woke up in this cell. As far as I remember, I was travelling to meet with a new client, but I have no recollection of ever getting caught, so my memories don't match up with the current situation. I start to wonder how much time is missing from my memories, but my mind draws a blank.
I say @Ignithos: "I honestly have no idea how I wound up here. Not even a blur is left of my memories of getting here..."
I then say @Everyone: "Nevertheless, I don't think it's a good idea to linger here much longer."
I walk over to the door and press my ear against it to hear what's going on outside.

As I am talking to the mage, I suddenly feel a strong whack against the back of my head and trip forward. I just manage to keep my balance and angrily turn towards Chloé. I threateningly grab her collar and say with an uncontrolled voice:
(@ Chloé): "What in the world do you think you're doing? Don't forget tha-"
I force myself to calm down and stop talking, since it's not going to achieve anything and would likely only worsen things. I let Chloé go and turn back towards the mage.
@ Ignithos: I don't know why I'm here precisely, but I wouldn't be surprised if they captured me to take revenge on one of my former clients. That said though; If that were the case, I'd have no idea why you and Damir would be here as well, since the two of you don't seem to be the types to cause trouble." I take a quick glance at Damir, who just burnt his hands trying to remove a wall sconce. "Or at least.. Not usually."
I pause for a moment and then continue (@Ignithos): "I don't think I know your name yet. May I ask what it is?"

As Chloé tries to hug me, I instinctively retaliate, using her own movement to toss her onto the ground behind me, but still trying to make sure she lands softly. Then I say:
@Chloé: "Please don't do that ever again."
After getting myself out of that predicament, my face suddenly turns white as I realise that I'm the one here with the most combat experience and will therefore have to take the lead if we are to encounter any enemies during our escape. I scratch my head and then ask:
@Ignithos: "Say, do you still have that metal bar?"
@Chloé: "Please don't do that ever again."

I'm glad we finally have a strong party member, so I reply:
@ Chloe: "That's great, I'm sure we can escape this place now. Now, if we ever run into enemies, you can be our main fighter, taking care of enemies at melee range. Then I can provide distraction and support, while our mage fights alongside you at ranged distance. And Damir... I'm sure he can make himself useful some way or another. Oh, and the name's Jet by the way."
I then proceed to pick Chloe's lock.

From that move he just pulled off, I was convinced that man was an able fighter, but it turns out he's actually a regular farmer. It's good to hear he's become a little more self-assured now that he's left his cell thouhgh.
Either way, we still need a strong fighter in our group. At least we still have that girl who just busted a metal bar out of her door.
I reply @Damir (Lit): "Think nothing of it. Just make sure to keep up with us."
I walk back towards the pink-haired girl and ask her (@Chloe): "That bar just now, did you bust that out all by yourself? If so, you must be quite strong. We could use someone with your strength during our escape."
