Let's Examine: A Look at What Makes Games Great (or Not)
What are you thinking about right now?
Craze
Okay, I actually dislike people whose life is nothing but "I AM A FAG," because it gets them shiny things and support/sex from liberal twinks for being shallow.
I was an idiot in 2010.
Designing a mobile RPG
I think that a double-press "button & window" scheme lends itself to fingerpresses.
IE you have buttons with symbols on them. You press once to activate that particular event/object, the information about which is displayed somwhere else on the screen, unobscured by the finger. Then you activate or complete the action by selecting a target for your action.
Manipulating objects on the screen then then is about economy of space and balance of formal and functional elements. My advice on that part would be to design with eas-of-use in mind and then refine to accomodate the skinning of the elements without giving up the design choices you made as to thier functionality in the first place.
I think that maybe using the map, where the player-character is more or less static, might be a way to get around the design problem of having to input navigation. Touch the top of the screen and the map scrolls up, or something like that.
My two cents.

Does anyone here know film editing?
I know film editing. What did you need? Send me an email or MSN me and I can give you a hand with it later tonight.
Think you can fix the deficit?
I was wary about shrinking secondary government employees because there are millions of jobs implicated. That being said, I was ready to cut wherever I could find it, but not at the cost of the services that people deserve (ie medicare for vets).
Let's think about how this looks in the public eye, too. In large part, I opted to return to Clinton-era tax levels (including a new bank tax, millionaires tax) and reducing military and government spending. I left $200 billion on the 2030 shortfall, which I think is fairly optimistic. Thinking you can reduce a 1.5 trillion dollar debt in 20 years is maybe not as realistic as 25 or 30. To contrast, Britian JUST finished payong off her WW2 debt to the United States.
I just can't think of any other way to do it all and stay in office. :/

Thanks to everyone's help, we surpassed 2200 votes earlier today. It doesn't look like we're gonna win, but a big thanks to everyone who showed they were willing to support our cause. The Aviva Challenge really helped us raise awareness, not only in New Brunswick but all over Canada and the world, about the need for facilities like ours. We really appreciate everyone's help.
Thanks, dudes.
