As long as were're talking about free music, be sure to take a look at tracks that are in the public domain (that is, they belong to EVERYONE). There's no copyright infringement by using them, and more often nowadays these things are being uploaded to the internet. There's stuff from every era of recorded music, from old bluegrass to modern electronica.

Keeping File Size Down with MP3/OGG
This is a great article, and I have found its useful not just in RPGMaker but for compressing music files in general. I have never used OGG before and I am glad that I read this because now I can send off little guitar things that I record with ease and quality. So, thank you.

What are you playing?
I'm playing a game of Spaceward Ho! right now. It is a pretty cool 4X space game where you colonize and conquer planets with your fleet of ships. Its pretty simple but good fun. There is a Windows version floating around out there somewhere, so I encourage people to look it up.
