But... we all got to start at the same time, isn't it right we all end at the same time? You can see the correct end time of the event if you set your GMT settings to your time zone.
There are no such settings accessible to me.
Under your username, click "Edit Profile"; under "profile sections" click "Settings"; it should be at the top of that page. Then keep diddling with the offset from GMT until the time roughly matches your current time. (In doing this, I discovered I'd forgotten to allow for the end of Daylight Savings, so my info had been off by an hour. Fixed)

Game Accessibility

This is something I honestly have never thought about at all.

When I draw a five figure income from videogame making, I will think about it. In the mean time, my games are in the top 1% in their accessibility to the POOR PEOPLE demographic, because they're free. And that's awesome.
Indeed. But it wouldn't do any harm to make certain your visual cues are clear.

If you think about accessibility early enough in the process there's a huge amount that you can do for very little effort, and the results are better too.
I'm hoping this topic encourages designers to do just that.

trying to throw something together for towns. There are basic solid colours, and then 6 different "tiles" you can apply to them to achieve different paving stone effects. I am still working a bit on the contrast. Also the VX Ace wall shading script is still on...
This is awesome. I love it. :D

Yuna how did you become that good at pixelling backgrounds like that?
Practice, obviously! :p Now I'd better get to drawing my red-footed wamp...
OK here's a title/game over screen/parallax/battleback that looks like it's made of art glass. . .
and another of strange glowing ice. They're sans words so titles can be added. All sized for ACE.

(Feedback please!) I havne't set up a license yet, but please consider this remixable and usable if attributed.

The first one is strange and unusual, not totally sure if I like. Although I might use it as a final boss background. ;)

The second one is GORGEOUS. Would frame it and put it up in my house / 10

With that recommendation, I might submit a larger version to my local art gallery!

Aetherion

I should try this again, as i kept getting kinda stuck at one of the end bosses, so never discovered whether Edan's strong fire magic was linked to the Phoenix as I suspected.

Dimensions of 2 or 3?

Gosh, it has been a while.

We tested the base engine out on a different project 'In Arcem Miseria' - the combat system wouldn't be like that of course, but the mapping tools and event editor and database, etc, are all working pretty well.

We moved recently again so it's been a bit of hiatus while the artist finishes some commission work. I'm pretty set on the tools, so not we're waiting on some resources and working on a test environment for a demo.
Good to know. Still interested in a theme song?

This looks like a decent fractal.

Are you familiar with fractal art?
Oh yes, and I create some myself. I even got the opportunity to attend a lecture by Mandelbrot himself in high school. However, neither of the pictures you see above were generated using fractal algorithms but were created by brushes, layering, and effects. Both might be useful as textures in fractal programs, however.

Teamwork and You pt. 1: Recruiting

I've very much often been the "idea mAn" in the past, but have had some good output too. Portfolio and practice time- that's partly what MOG is about.
