Lying to and deceiving the player

In the Japanese version of Castlevania II everyone was a liar.

Also.. does the size of the picture for an enemy matter? (Does it need to be a certain size?)
Many of the older makers such as 2k3 had size limits for images: Rm2k: 16-320×16-160;RM2k3 16 to 240x16 to 240. BOth of those must be 256 colors or less. later makers can use items of any size, but you should still keep certain things in mind:
  • RMXP battle screen :640x320 and Sprites <= 40 pixels tall will make it hard to see effects.
The VXace battle screen is 544x296.

BurningTyger> Wait... she?

Unity> Really? Okay then :3
Whoops, he. Anyway, for your amusement, the Funky Temple![http://rpgmaker.net/media/content/users/8106/locker/Funkytemple.ogg
Now back to the encampment:
Screenshots (apparently not good enough yet. OK.) I keep asking myself, "how do I use the resources I have to help depict the Ulruki culture?" This lofty aspiration is probably part of what's standing in my way.... A thought: Without its roots to anchor and feed it, its trunk to support it, and its leaves to energize it a palm cannot bear fruit; likewise, the Ulriki Elders, adults, and young men and women each have their own role to play in the success of the community and its children. *Edit8 OK it's pretty much done. You cna see an example in the screenshot thread.

JUSt how far does re-imagining go? Like if i used different instruments and tempo would that count? *is wondering about the Funky Town" remix he did with the Shrine of Soul in mind*

Sorry, but I think I'm going to have to un-claim the Marison Docks. It's obvious at this point that I'm never actually going to do it.

One community game at a time seems to be the max I can handle. If Last King of Hyrule gets finished before Wyrm Warriors, I will try to come back and help more with this game's maps.

I am still willing to help with other things like gameplay for now, since that's a lot less draining to me. Just not maps.
That's fine! Thanks for all of your help thus-far ^_^

BurningTyger> Jelling? ~Oh and my original plan was to use funky town, but that failed in epic proportions :(
didn't gel, rather. I cantt see how it fits. As for Funky town, I could try to do something with it, or other songs 9"Night Fever" for example" could be used. Thuogh not soul, one of my remixes of "Rhainnn" might well be good for something..

Don't worry about finding the music for it; that'll be my job. I think ideally a sound-alike or such will work better than using the actual song, especially if its purely instrumental.
Actually she's inspired me to remix "funky Town" from midi. At the least I may be able to use it in MOG. I'll do my best with the Encampment, and try to make interesting without going too far outside the lines.
