How much time do you spend on the computer?

About 90 minutes a day.

THE OSCARS ARE FUCKING BULLSHIT (excuse my french)

Two Japanese films won Oscars.

Pretty big news over here.

What are you currently reading?

I didn't mean to sound so confrontational.

Anyways, I didn't read Catch 22, so I picked up another Murakami since they're easy to read. It was his book where he talks about long-distance running.

What are you listening to?

Just downloaded the new Bomb the Music Industry album.

So far so good.

What are you listening to?

The Ergs!- Dorkrockcorkrod

Called the best pop/punk album of the decade. I'm not sure if I agree. Teenage Bottlerocket had some good shit as well.

I liked the God Delusion - he did pretty good at trying to use rational arguments to refute an irrational belief. No easy task.

I liked God, the Devil, and Darwin: A Critique of Intelligent Design Theory by Niall Shanks better, though.

I must've missed his rational in the midst of his aggression, put downs and straw men arguments.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Yoshi's Island DS.

I like it, but I feel dizzy when I play it for some reason.

Let's Play! Final Fantasy IV Edition! ALSO A GENERAL FINAL FANTASY DISCUSSION TOPIC

I know we've already had the discussion, but I'm still in disbelief that IX was well liked.

I liked Vaan and Penelo.

If I had the time to spare, I'd love to play FFXII again.

What are you currently reading?

Never got through the God Delusion. Didn't think his arguments were very good, and his rhetoric was horrible.

Never got around to the Trial. Gonna read Catch 22 instead.

I'm playing Mario Kart Wii, this Kanji dictionary thing for my DS, and every now and then Dragon Quest V.

Mario Kart Wii is quite fun.
How is the Kanji dictionary? I've been thinking of getting it to help in my Japanese studies, but wasn't sure if it was actually going to be useful.

Sorry! I never saw this post until now.

The Kanji dictionary is good if you need a Kanji dictionary. You have to learn stroke order first, because it's part of how it recognizes the kanji. It is made for Japanese people though, so it's not the best, but does the job. There's also a bunch of kanji quizzes in the one I have. I like learning old country kanji, so that's fun for me.
