Christian foundation can't be underestimated. Fidelity. (Cheating is fairly common. Sex doesn't have as powerful of a meaning.) Physical pleasures going away from God. (Creating moral restrictions on the act to help people stay close with God- like premarital sex, contraceptives, sex for pleasure all being bad).

If sex isn't this powerful meaningful symbolic spiritual (for the new age people) thing, then it's easy to treat it like any activity, and find ways to improve or change it up.

It also means that sexuality is a lot more liberal. Love hotels are great. No more going into a hotel to pretend like you're a traveller from a far off land, you got a very romantic looking room, and costumes and toys on demand, plus usually a great shower room with many features.

Isn't it fun talking like we're experts?

Well, Facebook is a method of communication and quite convenient. I don't see a reason to be against it, unless you're nostalgic for the glory days of email.
