I've had that happen on other forums. It's kind of frustrating; I'd at least like to know what I did wrong so I can avoid making the same mistake in the future.
Yeah, that would be the right thing to do... but in my case in that specific community, it just felt kinda weird to have my shit deleted without even saying why... like I said, it's not like it was my game thread, cause goddamn I'll really dare to ask if this ever happens to me in a community that I feel or don't think I have problems with the administration...

Release Something! Day VI - Discussion Thread
Well, so far I have tried 3 games... Ascendence (I will write an official preview of this so I won't discuss it here, instead it will be on the game page in the main site), Iris of Emillion and Celestial Descent.
Celestial Descent doesn't work. The file is corrupted or something... the download is a webpage instead of a .zip file. I assume I had to rename the .zip.html file into a .zip only, but I will try that later, since I opened it instead of downloading it to my HD.
On regards Iris of Emillion... there are missing files, one so far, system4.png or something... I replaced it and played the game for a little while. I got to the part where you go into the town, then I tried to save, and it crashed... something to do with the .exe file of the game... it was a technical error. Well, the game uses chrono trigger graphics 100%, at least till the part I played. It has a dark scenery well done, fog effects... this is a polished game so far, I can't say much cause I play little, but I will give this a try again later on today... for now I'm going to bed.

I have had many of my topics deleted...
And honestly it really does not bother me at all
since i'll just move on.
But I can see how it can upset someone.

Recently I was in this one community, and I made a topic about asking a question... now, my question was answered, blah blah blah, but now I can't find the topic anywhere... I mean, I don't remember it being concluded, but it's nowhere to be found so far, even when I do my self search for threads I made.
Well, to be honest, I really don't care much to complaint in general, if one of my topics gets deleted in a site, however, I will deffinitely prefer if I'm notified through pm or something, cause I think it's the moral thing to do at least.
So what about you? have you ever had a topic you made completely deleted? if so, share your story, and your views about this whole action.

I think that what the community truly needs is dedication and developers here to open up their mind in order to become what they are not right now... and that involves spriting... I'm sure that a lot of you probably haven't even tried doing this... seriously, this you can learn with some studying and practicing... Same as for drawing. Talent is something, but who said spriting/drawing isn't a skill that you can't learn? yes you can, not saying you might be the best at it, nor the worst, how about trying? cause I tried already, and I think you could do the same if you really want it to.
