CHERRYBOMB'S PROFILE

American

I enjoy RPGs and hombrew, although I can't really enjoy playing them like I did when I was younger.

I'm here for the community, which I enjoy.

demondestiny's anime topic!!!

Anime... I used to be more interested in it till I found out how shitty the fanbase was for it. Every now and then, I'll go on a downloading spree and find some series I haven't watched before, glue myself to it like honey on a bear's ass-- and lose interest for three months before finally watching the last three epsiodes.
<fate/staynight/> lol

What does your avatar mean?

My avatar embodies the thoughtful, intelligent forms of honest advertising used in today's culture. We have come far, fellow humans. Oh so far.

Dream Jobs?

Artist. If I can't make that happen, I suppose holding down cardboard boxes is always open to me.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I don't actually own the game, but had the chance to play it at some friends' houses. I believe I like Wario, Dedede and Snake the best. Sonic, just because you fly around the stage with him.
Lucario and Marth can go to hell.
I don't feel that the game is as "epic" as it was hyped, but it is better than Melee. Not as much tourneyfag bullshit.

your game features

Everything graphic related is being done from scratch. Slow, but fun. I am an artist, so...
I can't think of anything else.

Release Something! Day II: The Sequel [March 20th]

I like you already, Craze. :)

The Release Something Day

Spriting. The project I am working on is graphics intensive and relies on the visuals to get half the meaning across, rather than leaving it all to the text.

Hard Parts of Game Making?

Hardest?
I suppose that would be staying focused.
I have no real problems with coding, graphics, text/plot, but I often want to incorporate all of my ideas into one project. I'll keep getting more and more ideas, the project gets more and more weighed down with the stuff I need to complete in order to make each idea come to life, I think to myself, "I can never finish this," and I don't.

That happened with my first project. I'm better at limiting myself at putting too much into a game, but it still happens every now and then.

On the flip side, my favorite part of creating is knowing that I can do whatever I want with the world I create. :)

Watcha been up to lately?

What have I been doing?
I recently landed a job at a local Target store, so I have cash for the first time in almost a year.
Other than that, I make a nuisance of myself around the house, occasionally work in frenzied spurts on RM2k3, pester my cat, hang out with friends...

Oh yeah, and try to remember to occasionally visit the communities I join.

And you are...? (THE INTRODUCTION THREAD)

Name: Gabriel Laughlin. Most of my irl friends call me "Julian," "Gene Wilder," or "Napolean." You can call me whatever you like.
Age: I'll be ninteen at the end of March, so lets say ninteen.
Personality: A mix of pseudo-intellectual philosopher, depressed unrealistic gamer, illogical procrastinator, and kind-hearted bully.
Likes: Chocolate, Girls, Crowds, Heavy Metal, Laughing, Explosions, Neon Lights At Midnight, Christianity, Several Games, Unusual Things, Poking Fun, Anime, Drawing, Cats, Friends, Being Alone In A Dark Room.
Dislikes: Politics, Anime, Uncreativity, Cleaning, Most Games Nowadays, All Fanfiction, Terrible Art, DeviantART, Stupidity, The Music My Sister Listens To, Bananas, The Majority Of Anime, Most Fanbases, Nursing Center Chefs, And Other Items Too Numerous To List.

Closing Thoughts:
Don't be baffled by this, I'm just the same as anyone else. I just enjoy thinking in an unorthodox manner. I do dislike the things I like in some way and vice versa. Bananas are the only fruit I absolutely cannot eat.
...I have never released an RPG Maker game. My first RPG Maker was XP. I consistently use RPG Maker 2003 as of last year. I do not have a favorite game yet, commercial or otherwise. I am the most easygoing person I know, so I should like 99% of you.
I guess time will tell if 99% of you will like me.
Nice to be here. :D
